I think we can all agree that Migos are not the greatest lyricists. The type of lyricists we are used to see freestyling on Sway are nothing like Migos. That does not mean that Migos are bad or they make bad music. I hate when people are always saying shit like "this ain't real rap" or "this kinda stuff is trash compared to old stuff" etc. People are allowed to like both. Like Nick Grant said on sway the other day. You wake up each day w different moods. Sometimes you wanna be blown away lyrically by the Nas, Redman, Kool G, Pac, Big etc. era, other days you wanna hear the "good" stuff nowadays like Kendrick, Cole, Vince Staples, Dave East etc., but other days you feel like turnin the fuck up to some Migos, Yachty, Savage, etc. People like different things so its gay when people are calling the new stuff like Migos trash. You obviously can't compare them to the old stuff but its fun to listen to.

migos is really dope. quavo is a different vocalist and great hook creator. takeoff is actually a emcee. his ablity to put lyrics together when he raps prolific is amazing. offset can put together a great verse and his adlibs is godly. salute💯

Quavo is really my favorite, no bandwagon shit. His talent is that he has the ability to flow on any type of rhythm and make it sound hard and fill you with energy, that's the culture nowadays, and I can confidently say that Quavo has perfected that skill
I don't really listen to Migos but you have to give them credit, they're talented. They literally created their own flow and people started copying them, even Drake. They've changed the culture a lot you can't deny that.
