Lawrence F im actually reading and then there were none by agatha christie! I dont ever read books but i had to read one for school and i love it so much, i couldnt suggest it more, it is really amazing
or double plot twist, they thought you were gonna solve it easily, so they put in AN ACTUAL bomb for shitz and gigz and end up with a terrorist attack murder charge cause Chris accidentally couldn't solve it in time...... :O
Would’ve been brilliant if they put in a little blast cap that went off at the end of the timer, just to really scare the shit out of him if he ran out of time. Maybe even add a little bit of smoke going off in the last 30 seconds leading up to it!
Imagine that someone responsible for shipping it got "interested". And started checking out what it is, for safety, you know. And suddenly they see "The bomb is now fully activated"
And now what that guy has done is considered illegal, postal services can’t check and touch the mail, they can scan it for drugs and stuff but tampering with it is illegal
@@rotgertesla It's legal here in the US too depending on where you live...here in Massachusetts it's been made completely legal to have and consume within your own home, up to a certain quantity I think. It's still not technically legal at the federal level but they can't really regulate that for civilians and most states don't care so you really won't get in any trouble for small amounts depending on the state you're in...
@@ChrisRamsay52 dude the real question is what the hell did future you do for a psychotic robot girl to send a bomb? Man that's harder than the actual puzzzle
I was definitely waiting for a spin. That would have been awesome if they would have had a thing that opened on the bottom in the center weight wise that pushed down lifting the puzzle off the table just enough for it to say, "ok chris, now spin me right round baby, right round" and that opened the door for the mirror or something lol
So the questions are: What happens when 1. Timer runs out with bomb armed? 2. with bomb disarmed? 3. You turn it off while bomb is armed? Such a masterpiece
Chris Ramsay 2017: makes a wholesome video about picking a lock puzzle. Chris Ramsay 2020: The world is ending, I found this puzzle in an alien spaceship, I don't know what it does, but I know I need to solve it, wish me luck, I hope I come back alive.
The bad news: all have sinned and fallen short to the glory, and the wages is death. Good news: “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. Jesus Christ can and will deliver you from porn, fear, doubt, lust, envy, insecurites, drug addiction, anger, hurt, mental illness, alcohol, cigarettes... Witchcraft, idols and most importantly the wrath of God. And while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Experience the kingdom of God today. Repent, turn to Jesus and receive salvation today
There is no way this thing is 20 grand, Labstrium seems to be a startup, overlyambitious startup CEO, over evaluate their products all the time. Especially if its handcrafted, there is nothing too fancy happening here, a rasberry, a few motor shield, some arcade press buton glued to CNCed aluminum, some LED, jump wires, some wood weathered with th usual cheap metal effect, a mirror, a battery and some coding. Good for theim if they sell it 20 000, but it's not worth 20 000, mateirial + handcraft I'd say 3000 at best.
@@engineering7530 personally i don't see how it could be worth 20 thou, but the comment was based off the information given both by chris and the title.

the bomb breaks into recorded laughter of the makers of the puzzle on their way to the bank to deposit the pile of cash CHRIS spent on the puzzle because it only cost $50 to build - money well spent indeed.
HA! That could be anybody who's never had a mobile phone before no matter their age. But, I'm 71 and watched as young people put iPhones in their mouths the first time they saw one! I doubt an older person would do that!
This was great! I come and go once in a while as far as your channel goes and the amount of effort both you and the puzzle makers go through is insane. Other than collecting board games, collecting puzzles like these are now another life goal of mine! Just imagine one day a room with cool lighting, board games, puzzles, and displate metal posters ;D (Check displate out not promoting but they have cool stuff for decor haha)
i laughed so hard when he tried to press the buttons without the mirror, instead of pressing the opposite side he instinctively almost pressed the lit up side. and said :thats way too hard JEEZUZ!!!
@@holyarmageddon19 its not about the cards dude. there could be a feather in there for all i care. this puzzle is a freaking masterpiece of craftsmanship
This was so fun! I love puzzles and I don't think I'll be able to crack this, but damn, it is fun to watch! I would've loved to see a timer on screen, to show the passing of time in your video, too be able to have a better feel of how much time spend on which parts :)
@@keyonnahartwick1298 i do, and it definitely isnt "a piece of paper", let me explain this more in depth, cars are made out of steel, does this mean your car is a piece of steel?
i think this was way too simple. for 20 grand one would expect a lot more mechanical movements rather than the button mashing. the circuit wiring was ok. i think the bulk of the money went into fabricating the look of the puzzle. I''ve seen more entertaining puzzles from Chris. Overall it's a dope piece and a cool puzzle but not $20k dope or cool.
While that was cool, I felt like I was expecting more at the end. From a price point and the physical size of it, just felt like there should of been alot more to this. More smaller steps maybe, some other interaction with the screen. Still, looks good and glad that you liked it, but it's not a price I'd pay for it.
The reason it's so expensive is beacuse its custom made. They essentially have to create molds and everything to create this box, when you make 1000s of a item it's cheaper beacuse the expense of the molds for the product are factored in and spread out, while he has to pay the full cost
He has enough money, several of his videos have titles like "solving a 3000$ puzzle" and so on. He does this for entertainment and yes he could have just saved the money but he spent it to entertain us and himself. I don't think you should complain.
Look I know I'm 9 months late watching this episode but to the 7.3 k people that gave you a thumbs down they're 1 haters or 2 just plain don't like puzzles at all because I think you do a helluva job introducing them and solving them plus you make it fun but I loved it keep up the great work God bless 🤯🔥💯💪🏼👍👍🙏🙏✌😁
did he took money from your pockets to buy that???? some buy far way worse and useless sh1ts with much more money. he bought that puzzle to do a video for us. STFU HATERS. Stop being so dumb
OSHIT WAIT YOU JUST UPLOADED THIS?! Your intros are next level dude every single episode it makes the previous one look mediocre That puzzle was insane! Difficulty wise definitely not at the top, but craftsmanship, story and the difficulty (not at the top but still fairly difficult) all together make this honestly mind blowing!
TheHipsterShrimp what a joke. First I thought it was an iphone 🤣🤣 But still wouldn't be wourth it seriously. I don't see why this toy costs 20k .. 2k would be enough tbh
@@rrkred3561 Still not worth 20k if you include man hours and overhead. No reason why this thing is 20k at all ever. He just had the money to spend and did it on something retarded.
@@MattTheOak A majority of products are hand crafted unless done by a retailer or some manufacturing business. If this man put in somehow an entire years worth of effort day in day out 10 hour days 5 days a week then sure, it could be worth it. However the custom craft which is easy to do if you can fabricate with metal/wood which isn't difficult I've been doing it for over 6 years. Man Honestly it just wouldn't amount to 20k. It was just a ridiculous price for a ridiculous toy. It's like those "mystery boxes" on the deep web.

it's a unique item, they spent a lot of time designing this thing, bulding it etc.. for one copy.. it's like everything else, cars, watches etc.. if you want something unique that no one have it will cost you more.. of course if they build hundreds of these it'll cost a lot less...
Imagine if the creators actually put a bomb in there. That would’ve been some sick and twisted shit. Reading the countdown thinking you’re just gonna fail the puzzle. When in actuality you’re about to legit be blown tf up.
This puzzle looks awesome but for $20,000 I thought there would be more steps or more special effects. They sell an airsoft bomb that you need to defuse and it makes smoke if you fail lol.
"You're not going to get a better puzzle on the internet." Um. One of a kind... ;) Also, master puzzle designers out there just picked up the gauntlet.
You need to get like 2 or 3 more cams even if it’s just a GoPro but put them on all sides of that table and you already one two one on top and one in front so after getting 3 more for the last 3 spots you wouldn’t have to move just edit that way but not work on the edit but much better video and bit more cash for videos but hey your killing it lol
100% it's really cool looking. But I would not say there is any special craftsmanship there. It's made mostly of MDF-board or plywood and acrylic plastic. If they actually hand made it all, then might give some credit to them, but I believe there was a CNC-router involved. Also the structural planning is not very good. If you look at the box Chris pulls out at the end. It has a extra triangular piece in each corner to strengthen the box. If that box would be well made, you won't need that kind of cheap hacks. So sorry, but this thing is quite average in therms of craftsmanship. Nice graphic design thou.
