A-10 GAU-8/A Updated Gun Sounds 

Having served a tour in Afghanistan from 2009-2010 and witnessed the hog firsthand on the ground.... I can say this took me back.... Actually gets me a little emotional to see the A-10 preserved in such a proper manner. That sound has saved my life.

Dear ED! I have just dipped my toes into this huge ocean you have created in the form of a game a few weeks ago. In VR and still learning the a10, but this, this is a very welcome update. Thank you, from a new player, but from the looks of it a long staying one!

One critique is the pitch doesn’t usually change that drastically

after the stuka siren, this is the scariest sound ever!

I always thought the original A-10 didnt have enough BRRRRTTTTTT. I also really like the fact that the sound doesnt start until a few seconds after the gun has been fired, very nice detail

That brought me back to my visits to gunnery ranges! From the tower, it was always amazing to hear the projective shockwaves, the impact and then the BRRRRTTT, in that order (just like the run at 0:39). Well done!

After all the amazing video's on the A-10C II showing the updates to visual model, avionics, weapons etc - THIS is the video that has finally spurred me into getting back into the Warthog, there's just something about employing the 30MM that will always be so unique and fun in this bird. Great work ED.

Holy BRRRRRRT moly, that sound in the distance is incredible!!! The A10 is one of the few modules I've never actually picked up but purely for this sound alone, it makes me wanna fly and shoot the heck out of things. Incredible sounds!!

I had audible reactions throughout the entire video. I have watched this three times in a row now, and still react to every pass. It is mostly expletives with the word 'awesome' attached to them.

I was just working on a BRRRTT compilation and I just found out about this update. I’ll wait... 😂 Honestly, this sounds so good and super scary at the same time. Out of this world, literally and figuratively speaking. There is something so alien and foreboding about the BRRRT. Especially when heard in the distance. Thanks ED for this marvelous upcoming update 🙏🏻

Any chance there can be more ground spray/near-impact effects vice only seeing a burning vehicle? While the example video appears to have soft/loamy type soil that would result in less "dust up", this is an area effects weapon. The classic real-world videos are from arid regions with considerable short-term obscuration of the target. I sort of expect a little sparkle from the HEI, if there is actually a mix of 25% HEI and 75% API. The cameras at the gunnery ranges would look even better with some of that! :) Keep up the good work!

overall is on point EXCEPT for the actual gun sound, it sounds only a slight high pitched (or its lacking some bass).. otherwise the impact sound, smoke effect are 10/10

Legend tells - it's not the 30mm rounds that destroy the target. The target is cut apart by the sound.
