@@nathandamaren2093 I agrre with you on that. The GAU-8 is an insane MONSTER, but in the game, just as any other Ace Combat, the gun is never properly reproduced. But since this is just a game and not a simulator, there are some compromises and trade-offs to be taken. For instance: The A-10 in real life can carry "only" 1150 gun rounds. In the game it's infinte. Imagine an A-10 flying around over enemy airfields with infinite 30mm High Explosive Incendiary rounds on a gatling gun capable of firing around 5000 rounds per minute... You could fly all day long with your trigger fully pressed, spraying these HEI rounds everywhere... If the gun in game was modeled to be true to the real life aircraft while maintaining this infinite ammo, then one single A-10 could pretty much wipe out the entire map all by himself.
Well, that depends on a few factors... It's true that the A-10 is way more agile and maneuverable in low speeds than any Fighter aircraft the USAF uses. But that doesn't mean it can pull out insane maneuvers with ludicrous G-loads. It does not have, in any way, shape or form, the highest Turning Rate. In fact, it's turning rate is actually really low. And why is that? Because the A-10 was designed to fly slow. It's rarely capable of reaching 440 mph. It's most optimum turning speed is around 200 mph maximum. And it can only pull as much as 5.5 to 6 Gs in a desperate evasive turn, anything beyond that would be putting the aircraft in serious risk of damaging it's own frame. It could even rip it's own wings if it could pull up more Gs than that. So yeah. The A-10 can be called an "agile" airplane. And it surely is for the task it was built for, which is ground attack and Close Air Support. But that doesn't make it a dogfighter-like agile aircraft. The A-10 is pretty much SCREWD if it has to dogfight it's ass into safety, even against an F-5 Tiger.
There should be an A-10 challenge in ace difficulty, in which you use it without any upgrades, the dogfighting missions would be neat, just imagine an A-10 dogfighting a SU-57 or the fictional high advanced drones of this game
I always find amazing how the entire package gets overwhelmed when the mission develops pretty quickly into a huge furball, but somehow your wingmen always know when you have a bandit locking on you, or when a missile is coming towards you and not them... They always know what's going on around them AND around you. It's like these guys are all oniscient and they can see the entire battle with god-like situation awareness. Who the hell, in this kind of situation, with dozens of enemy aircrafts, tanks, AAAs and SAMs all going wild in the battlefield, would be even able to pay attention to what's going on around any other dude on their package? Even the aircraft datalinks are not that godly precise, but somehow these guys are all ninjas.
Imagine they released the level creator mode were you could design any level you could have created the levels that you love so much from Ace Combat 1 2 3 and 4 5 and 6 just like Doom 2016
Finally, a game that doesn't require 64GB of RAM to run, and a Intel Core i69 or AMD Ricin to run. And it's Ace Combat, AND I HAVE LINUX. :D AND I CAN RUN IT IN WINE! :D Thank you Devs! :D
They really disappointed me with the gun, like cmon they made the 30mm look like a 9mm and they ruined the firing speed it shoots 65 rounds a second in the game it looks about 5 rounds a second
With you guys and you are going to be happy with your new phone and then you can pick up your stuff from your house so I don’t think you you’re gonna I’m going home and then go home to get your
