Now we just have to wait for the mod that gives the Fenrir access to its optical camouflage tech and the tracking microwave ball weapon.

@@Attaxalotl ADF-11F Debuts at the end of the lighthouse war becoming the most impressive fighter aircraft in history for approximately five minutes. Honestly I feel bad for Hugin and Munin, at least the X02 and Falken had a good few years before being outclassed.

@@scottl.1568 Arsenal Birds can't actually land, instead they are resupplied via supply ships, which are launched with a mass driver from Tyler Island. The last objective of mission 17 is to take out two supply ships
The best part is if you watch the radar when it hits, it vaporizes every target near the blast, and you can even see it trying to drop more UAVs, just for those to get instantly vaporized as well.
He didn't VTOL. he Made a Post Stall Maneuver. The Middle Thruster turns down only to Prevent the Fenrir to stall. And NO the Middle thruster isn't definitely featured for the Maneuver, the Fenrir exists since ACX back in 2006 that doesn't have Post stall Maneuver Functions. the Middle Thruster also Provides Fast Take off by Push it first up and then faster Forward. Also, the Fenrir too is Heavy Asf for VTOL.
@@Thomas_Everman Well the Thruster that slightly Pushes up the Plane hold only a Second or two, because it doesnt get enough Air intake to Push itself into the Air vertically. What i just wanna say is, its Main reason why the Engine turns downward is to prevent the Fenrir from Stall.
@@sihocolus I just read through the wiki a little bit. Apparently the Fenrir prototypes developed by Leasath had VTOL, while the reproduction models by the Aurelians do not. Guess we're both right.

I guess that was the One you have to Destroy when you Fly through the Islands Base while it was collapsing and the Last remaining Fenrir Jet tried to escape - that fighter really Flew in VTOL. And it even had Camouflage activated (though he was still Targetable).
I love the fact that if this was really in game lore, they wouldn't even need to go through the trouble of firing up stonehenge to take down an arsenal bird. Just send trigger lol.

I hope we get the Fenrir in the next game. If it takes place past 2020 there’s a good chance since it was completed by Laeseth during the war with Aurelia in 2020
it was completed, it just never reached mass production as the only facility tooled to make it was destroyed, along with all the data pertaining to the program
When you have the most advanced aircraft with full upgrades and equipped with the most advanced special weapon, you can easily destroy the whole battlefield in no time. I miss those times where I use the ADFX-01 Morgan with MPBM on every mission and I can easily get S rank in every difficulty.
what is the most broken weapon that ever existed in ace combat? well is not the laser is not MPBM is not FAEB AND IS NOT drone spam. IT IS THE ONE KING LSWM, ace combat X a single shot in the atmos ring can destroy all MBSR/Meson cannons that are really spread out so far away that a normal missile can't even lock on.
if Lesath just provided help for the lighthouse war with the fenrir they wouldnt have needed to cause a war 6 months after the lighthouse war ended to sell this magical piece of equipment tbh
at 9:50 all UAVs are killed. Then the 2nd wave arrives and the targeted UAV tries to isolate himself from the others before he's hit. This adaption is actually crazy. Even tho they don't stand a chance they actually adapted immediately.

What are the numbers on the LSWM; I've hit the arsenal bird with something like 3 FAEBs in a row on Ace and I still needed to fire a couple of missiles each
Dude what are your PC specs? I use a 10 yo laptop (yes it's actually from 2012) that runs this at 90% 3d res, everything set to high and 60 fps limit, though I get 30 stable fps from that.
@@cipherunknown_ I have an 86 EU Iris Xe laptop, if it was RDNA2 or had a DGPU I would be able to crank settings, alas that is not what I wanted when buying a laptop. If I tuned up antialias and shadows some I'd guarantee this would look way better. With my current settings I average around 40-60 fps, which I prefer than 30
