100 years old. It means he was born sometime around 1923, and that's the POINT. 1923 the amount of processed food, sugar and consumption of carbs was totally different compared today. Fruits were eaten by season (locally produced) and when available plus size much less smaller and non GMO- Ask him what his grandma and mother cooked for him..because for the first 20 years of his life that was the main core and foundation of what his health is today, not what he's eating tomorrow. Don't be fooled by the media.

I AM 85 yrs old and happy to have met the Dr. Howered. I found out. I workout in treadmill like him and swim daily. AND that what makes me happy but I AM curious about politics which I was never interested throughout my life. Just to find out the ugly approaches of it. THANK you Dr. Howered for the interview that gave me a boost to continue my journey.👏👏👍👍✌✌😆⚘💝🇨🇦🇨🇦

This popped up without me clicking anything while I was quite upset about something trivial. I am not subbed either. I don't know how the extra tab popped up with this clip but I'm grateful it happened. This man calmed me down with his attitude and then I looked into his bio and found out that we share the same birthday. That's quite a coincidence. Thanks.

He said "MEANINGFUL" volunteering. Find the volunteer job that lights your lights! I've volunteered at a school library, charity thrift shop, and assisted living/memory care facility. The assisted living volunteering situation was the only one that just absolutely was something to look forward to. I was doing art projects with residents under the supervision of a very creative and enthusiastic department head. It was smiles all the way. If you enjoy being around children, then do a school. If you enjoy pets, do the local animal shelter. Etc.!!!

This is such a good and an inspiring interview. I really love how the 101 year old man was saying that we can not hold on to hate and we got to learn to let go and to live life and to start loving and to always keeping your self active and to keep your mind sharp. And he said something that really inspires we is always to keep excersicing, live life to the fullest.

So what's you point? I haven't watch the interview yet...but didn't many in his generation eat the way you describe in that time frame? So he's still different FOR BEING ALIVE AND MENTALLY SHARP... RIGHT? That's why they are interviewing him....
@robertoperaza2683
@robertoperaza2683 10 месяцев назад
@@YogaBlissDance You are absolutely right, definitely this person did probably not smoke, immerse into alcohol as many of his generation fellows did as you say (which was something quite common in that time) - the diet and food he had in his youngest time was the key and not what he has been eating in the last 15-20 years as the interview is trying to focus the attention.

I am sorry, but by your logic, everyone who was born in the 1920s and had seasonal foods should have made it to 100 like this man! But they have not. So don’t be fooled by generalisations.

Brilliant interview and man. Interesting Dr Ellesworth Wareham practiced thoracic surgery until 95 but was very healthy and active up to his last interview when he was 101 (he lived to 104.) He’d been vegan for ~60 yrs and in all interviews was happy with it. His meal schedule was very similar to Dr Tucker incl food excl obv fish, meat and dairy milk. Other similar stories from those who at both ways. I think we’re far from conclusive evidence either way. Peace and health.

Dr Wareham was never a vegan. Many times he used that expression to describe himself. However in his personal interviews he always acknowledged he ate salmon and "plant based" diet. Nobody made precise definition: exactly how much salmon you need to eat to stop being vegan or plant-based?

I have a toxic relative who harbours and repeats pointless grudges some of which go back 90 years. Everything she demands has to be done instantly and nothing, in her opinion, is done correctly. She will be 101 in December. Some people thrive on being miserable and making life miserable for others.

Last I read of a 100 year old man with a 90 year old wife... Abraham and Sarah. They kind of laughed when God said Sarah would give birth at her age, right? After all has been said (and on the internet that happens continuously 24/7), it seems ironic that the least mentioned things often contain the most truth.

Longevity , how young you are should be the right way to proceed. There are no question, VEG and non Veg is equally good and nonveg only have some sideeffects for few who can be choosy about diet. God made all and did not give anybody immortality because of overpopulations t,hat cause disaster and violence. Population is not any crisis in the whole world.
