My grandfather was of English descent & grandmother of German descent on mother's side; all English on father's side, so, as kids, we heard "sleep tight & don't let the bedbugs bite" quite often. I really enjoyed that thank you. I live in Suffolk and a few years ago I went to Kentwell Hall where they had a Tudor day. I spent most of the time in a room where they had a distillery and were making herbal remedies for illnesses. It was really interesting. Hope you have a great time in Prague🙂
We say sleep tight, don't let the bed bugs bite here in the USA too. Which as an adult I find a perfectly horrid thing to say to a child before sleep. Along the lines of the meaning of ring around the rosey, pocket ful of posies. Thank you for sharing your visit.
