I'm teaching Kindergarten too and I feel like all I do is laugh at how freakin adorable they are as they make faces in the camera or walk around their house with their device! I love that I can REALLY mute them instead of using my pretend air remote control with my pretend mute button. 😉 But really, they like sharing (show and tell) and listening to me read aloud.

That sounds fantastic. I wish I could sit in on a class. I know it would be creepy and all and I wouldn't actually suggest it for obvious child's privacy issues. Still, I think it would make ME feel so good. Thanks to you and all the amazing teachers going so far above and beyond for the kids!!

Agreed. I wear my kitty mask over my medical mask. (kitty mask is a black mask with a white pattern of a cartoon kitty face)

It's so strange because where I live (Belgium) we are not at all encouraged to wear masks. (I think the logic is that they (especially home made ones) don't really help unless you do all the other stuff (stay home as much as possible, keep your distance, wash your hands, cough/sneeze in your elbow, don't toch your face,...) anyway. And they're afraid it would give people a false sense of security so they won't do the other measures anymore). When we will gradually go out of lockdown they (the government) say they will encourage but not enforce wearing masks. Anyway, this longwinded paragraph is just to say that Americans are currently giving me tonnes of anxiety when they shame the non-mask wearers because it's all so confusing and I don't know who's right anymore and I just want to do my best. //end rant.

@@cloudwonders I guess the answer is depends on the your location situation. how many people are infected so far? If you really have to go out to a public place and the numbers of positive people are a lot, there's nothing wrong with wearing a mask. The virus are not airborne but they can stay in the air for a couple of hours as along as the weather has some humidity. Not to mention some ignorants who just cough and sneeze without closing their mouth or people who are asymptomatics and we are near them. I'm from asia and we use mask when it's flu season or just avoiding transportation's exhaust. I understand if it's feels weird for people who are not used to it. Good luck for your health =)

@@cloudwonders it's the same here in England. I've just left a comment because I think it's wrong to shame people and also wrong to encourage people to buy masks because health care professionals need them and theres no evidence to suggest wearing a mask protects you against the virus. If you already have the virus, it can help protect anyone you come into contact with OR if you're a health care professional you should wear one. The general public dont really need them however.

I think my favorite part of Grace’s videos is that, no matter what it’s about, she has this level of genuineness that is so weird in the best way? Like it’s as if I’m video chatting with a lifelong friend and we’re being stupid together. It’s just so much fun and makes the video seem intimate!but not in too weird of a way yknow

My therapist has actually made me to a yell/hiss thing at her before in an “exercise”, I mean totally valid but sometimes she gets a little more as she calls it “woo-woo” than I like. But it helped sooooo....I guess what I am saying is a miss my therapist.

There definitely is a point to you making internet videos, we love them! It gives people a way to take their mind off things so thank you! With all the negative crap coming from this virus, I keep trying so hard to focus more on the positives. Like you said, this is the one and only time, EVERYONE is affected by the same thing. Some people have it much worse but rich, poor, healthy, or sick, we’re all affected. So many are doing such amazing and generous things, it’s inspiring to watch.

Grace, I love your "stupid fucking internet videos." As a healthcare worker I'm so stressed and exhausted and depressed, and I love coming home and being able to watch my favorite youtubers and actually genuinely laugh a little. Making videos may seem insignificant, but it makes such a difference. I super appreciate you and everyone else who has voiced the same hesitancy/what's the point kinda attitude about making content. I'm feeling very hopeless today and it's week 6 quarentine for me. I live with my parents, we gave a good relationship, but I really miss my friends. I should be having a great time because I am employed, but i just feel so guilty talking about how lonely and isolated i feel. I was JUST getting into the swing of dating after living my best single life for 4 years. I can't hide the fact that I'm jealous of all my friends and their relationships, i just want to feel love too. I'm having a bad bad mental health day, the kind where I don't remember what brings me joy and my phone is about to die from the constant RU-vid and games all day. I would have gone outside but it's snowing and 40 degrees. Grace, thank you for this video. I'm frustrated at all the celebs constantly trying to be joyous, it was refreshing to hear the truthful frustration we're feeling.

As someone with family members who dont get along my advice is to just take care of yourself and try not to take it on or help the situation just focus on your own wellbeing and if you have to, express how their arguments make you stressed out and maybe they'll work on keeping the yelling to a minimum
