No, I'm pretty sure we don't have fire hydrants like that over here. Ours are underground, often indicated by a small yellow H sign, and pop out of the ground when needed.

@@fransmith3255 37, and I live 30 minutes away from London. I used to work there and trust me, if we had that style here I would have walked into them more than once.

Yes, I was looking at the kickstarter and thought similarly. I noticed this plus stuff like seasons is a kickstarter goal, yet they already have gameplay pictures with seasons in it? I'd say that most of these goals, if not all have already been developed. They're just doing a bit of a dishonest money push. It's false advertising. I'll buy the game when it comes out, but I'm not backing false advertising that is there just to get free money for something that has already been made and put into the game anyway. And the pledges they're asking for are stupidly high. The kickstarter page looks like a crock of garbage. The stuff on it has most probably already been developed. I'll buy the game if it's good (and it does look good), but I'm not giving money to a lie!!

@@fransmith3255 all of those stretch goals are to further develop the systems in place, it's literally explained there... You just want to be enraged...

@@iliketinyturtles Actually, I've had this game on my wishlist for about 5 years now. I'm quite excited about this game. I'll buy it, assuming it has a positive release. I just won't be supporting it on kickstarter because I play a LOT of different games across a lot of different genres, and reading through the lines, there's something very fishy here, and that's concerning. Many a game has claimed many things and not been what it claims to be. Steam is littered with those kinds of games. Although I'm excited about the game itself, I nonetheless look at things carefully, so I also see stuff without rose coloured blinkers. Both I and the guy above saw it. It's a shame that you didn't notice it, but that's why people get ripped off. They're selling to The Sims 4 audience to a certain extent after all - people who have been ripped off for years. People who look for what they want to see, not for what's actually there. To be fair, I tend to benefit from those people because they're the ones who get ripped off and then leave negative reviews so that I can be a little more cautious and not buy garbage. As I said, I've been looking forward to this game for years, but there's a definite smelly rat about that kickstarter page. It may be nothing, but I'd rather be safe than sorry. By all means, support it and let me know in the reviews whether it's worth buying or not. 🤣

I just saw it too, they only raised 18k but they have 30+ ppl hired/working on the game. Yikes

He said that the devs reached out to him to play and endorse the game so they gave him the alpha version

they canceled their kickstarter and rn it seems like the game release will be a lot less features than initially planned :/

btw the demo is not worth playing guys, it's very different from what is showcased here.

is there an announcement somewhere that it's cancelled? the kickstarter says its planned to release november 2024 :(

@WlGHTKNIGHT I saw that it was canceled on Kickstart, but that doesn't mean they stopped development. They weren't able to meet their goal, so the Kickstarter campaign was canceled. I'm sorry if my comment made you think they stopped working on it entirely
