Whomever is running that place are complete idiots. This poor baby is being mistreated by its older brother. The mother is trying her best to keep them apart. The mother is so stressed out. This is a horrible situation but a easy fix. The brother needs to be place in another cage on his own but but close enough so he could still see his mom and sibling. This Gibson monkey are endangered and they should be doing everything in their power to keep this baby and mother, safe and healthy. Not being thrown around a cage like a ragdoll.

If you can't give these Gibions a proper home, let them go back to the wild where they belong. You expect all these different animals live together in an area thats the size of a small home for 1. This was SO NERVE WRACKING to watch...My heart is still pounding...It's a miracle that tiny fragile, looking baby "Uta" wasn't dropped from the rope...& didn't suffer serious injury as "Mom" pretty aggressively snatched him away from big brother...Gibbons are such beautiful creatures...

Animals stuck in captivity seem to abuse their babies a lot worse....keeping primates especially in enclosures seems cruel, they're too smart to be caged up that small and retain their sanity, just like humans and prison confinrment

To the people leaving comments afraid for the welfare of the baby gibbon, this is how they teach these babies to climb and survive. The baby is in great hands. It's you people that are a concern. The gibbon would die within two weeks in your care. These primates have been toughening up these babies for millions of years.

The brother was being excessive and mom wasn't having it lol she let him do it once and he dropped the baby but she wasn't going for it again lol... I'm gonna go out on a limb and say this is the way they teach the young but damn lol...

I wonder if the baby suffers from joint pain from being yanked around. The 20ft. fall didn't seem to hurt him to bad.

This zoo needs to be reported and I for one am going to find out if there is anything that can be done.....this baby was abused the entire video.....brother acts like he's a toy and the mom doesn't want him hanging onto her, she always pulls him off and makes him hang on the cage.....wtf???? This is horrible and shocking......this zoo should be shut down....imagine what that poor baby has gone through since it was born......gibbon mothers, monkey mothers, etc do not act like that towards their babies nor do they allow the baby to be tortured by an older sibling, most barely let the older siblings hold the babies at this young age......there is nothing ok with any part of this video.....shame on this zoo.......I will find a way to report this somehow.....don't care how long ago, I am sure this still goes on today........shame shame shame........you ignorant ignorant people!!!!!!

These guys are so freaky... They move as if they have no bones. That baby gets tugged and pulled when they're swinging and passing it around like a ragdoll yet doesn't seem to phase it. Seems like their bones are rubber or something.

Indeed the zoo keeper need to pay more attention and cate of these animals in their care. I had seen video in a Korean Zoo a new born little baby macaque die due to the mother throwing, swing by grabbing his little hand or legs. The video was cruelty and horrific treatment by his mother. Furthermore, the mother regused to breastfeed him. The incidence went on for 2 weeks, I think. The videographer reported later that the baby die. Causes unknown. But we can guess the consequence.

It was evident to me right away that the brother wanted to kill that sibling,,,it must have been the same to any observer there at the time. Looks like i'm beating a dead horse here but why oh why was this allowed to take place you have to wonder. Probably even before this mother allowed her oldest offspring to take off with the youngster there was jealousy that was easily seen...Sure is weird as hell isn't it, the mothers behavior that is? I mean it's got to be expected enough that a older sibling would kill to keep mothers attention on itself vs the newer baby right,,,,but the mother to do nothing to stop this from taking place and almost nothing about the abuse at all....weird. She wasn't blind and doubtfully deaf. Whatever

Gibbons are CRITICALLY endangered!! This should never have happened!! Seems like it may not be a legit zoo...

Oh my God! This baby is going to die if this Zoo doesn't get it out of that cage. Mom has no business letting big brother near that baby! That was horrible when he was thrown from so high up, I'm really surprised he's still alive after that.

This mom isn't paying attention. Older brother is trying to deliberately hurt this baby. He goes to the highest of places and then tries to detach. He attempted to drop them both. His milk bar is gone!!!
