I really wanted to comment on the part of the podcast where y'all talk about college. I just finished my first year of college, and I would really like to give some advice to anyone who is going to enter their first year of college. First of all, its super important to go into college with a fresh mind, college is nothing like high school. You have more freedom and free will so remember to not hold back on anything you want to do because you won't have enough time to do it as an adult. Although I said you shouldn't hold back on what you want to do, remember that you shouldn't go too crazy on parties or just going out because its very easy to fall off when you start having too much fun. Find a balance between your schoolwork and your social life. As for money, try and get a campus job. I had one, and it comes with perks like extra food (since my campus food is not very good), getting to meet new people (networking is very important, it can open up a lot of opportunities for you), save your money (think about what you need before thinking about what you want), and apply to summer internships. Summer internships give you that experience that a lot of jobs outside of college. There are some school opportunities that will pay for you to stay on campus and give you a stipend for the time you will be working there. Remember to have fun but work hard :)

I wish I would’ve enjoyed high school more. I feel like so many kids are pressured to have everything figured out after high school but they end up doing something that they don’t love or have a passion for. I agree with just taking your time and things will literally come your way. I love that they encourage to really take up all opportunities that come your way.

I used to be in high school but I graduated in 2020 and use to go to this program I graduated in 2023 when I was in that program we always do volunteer to place like food banks, etc and I love doing that I meet new people and love helping people too
Knowledge is key and everyone’s knowledge comes in to play for different things. College is so time consuming but so rewarding. I’m majoring in psychology and it’s so interesting but I also can’t wait until I graduate because it’s soo stressful.
I just graduated in may but when I get into college I'm going to struggle money wise and I know most people will be in the same situation as me but I found out that stater brothers and T mobile pay for education which is really helpful! So for those of you worrying I thought sharing this may help you just as it helped me but I would say to look into other places maybe closer to you and what works for you and check their benefits ! btw nat and jake I love your videos!!!!!! ❤

31:22 i agree with you guys do all the clubs possible but also some ppl can’t some ppl have to work, some people’s parents work & they don’t have a ride to get home and it’s scary to ask other people for rides but i would definitely do the same if i could go back when i was a junior & senior & i could drive. i missed so many awards ceremonies and high honor medal ceremonies bc i had to work and i thought work was more important but it’s not, living life is
When you guys talked about the whole editing situation…..this is a such an important topic that not a lot of people understand or take seriously. When it comes to being a content creator, it’s not just making videos and taking pictures but sometimes…..when it comes to making videos, they can take a long time to fully edit. So whenever I see supporters getting upset about there not being a new upload on a certain day, while there’s times to cut them some slack because they probably aren’t aware of how difficult making RU-vid videos actually is….for the ones who might get disrespectful about it, they need to be more grateful.
I graduated high school 3 years ago and girl I’m STILL so happy to be done with high school! 😅 but I get what you mean being an adult comes with pros and cons I definitely wish I would’ve taken more advantage of my teen years but I prefer the life I have now over the life I had in high school.
