Good story. Takes me back to my youth. I ran into a rough patch in my professional life. And that was going to take some time to sort out. A friend of mine who worked at a machine shop said I should stop by and talk to his boss. I was married with a baby at the time. Their work day started at 4 AM. The boss came out to see me. I introduced myself, shook his hand, and said. I'm looking for work. I don't care what it is. And I don't care what you pay me. He thought for a moment. And handed me a push broom. My first job was to keep the aluminum chips clear From the huge profiling machine. Over a period of a year, I learned machining. I did end up going back to my regular profession. But that was a good time in my life. I made good friends and learned many useful skills.
Good morning from Pleasant Hills, PA. Thanks for taking us along to West Virginia. It’s always nice to see how you and Tom work together on a project. 🇺🇸
It is a good story giving valuable lessons of all characters and behavior more than the background of ancestral things. Stand on foot and foot your bill. That tells you how it feels.
Towards the end of the story, the voice and the on-screen text are completely out of sync. Maybe, because the video is only online for a short time, you can repair and re-upload it. By the way: a good story!
@@jessecortez2111 An improper editing led to that - so I simply hit MUTE and "silenced" the narrator, to read the on-screen info far quicker (thereby enjoying the entire video (plus via an earlier comment, suggested to the uploader to NOT RUSH by uploading videos BEFORE they have proofed the audio / video sync - by PLAYING the finished video THEMSELVES "at least twice" to ensure the final upload is fully IN SYNC (which this uploader completely FAILED to do, as I believe they MAY have inadvertently "missed" including / or accidentally shortened, a blank clip, without the on-screen info in it, causing the shrinking of the photos in the clip, allowing the audio(previously recorded on a recorded track - to go OUT of sync - or ? Maybe at the halfway point, they simply FORGOT to include blank sections and rushed the entire editing process.. without caring enough to do it properly. ????????????????
I'm more intrigued interested with Margaret's story. And really George Harrison? First thing that came to my mind was the former beatle, the singer. You couldn't have changed the name a little bit to make it sound a little bit less stupid..
So beautiful of a story, would've been great to have seen it acted out.😀 They seemed to have met one another at just the right time & this is an example how a happy marriage & family can happen. Plus the daughter gained a lot more respect & appreciation as to how she was raised. Best to them!❤
It is nice that Samatha experienced what ordinary people go through in life. But kindness can make a difference. Never judge anyone because of appearance.
Sounds like a fairy tale. In other words, it's unrealistic. Either Samantha got access to her parents' $ or she didn't eat or pay rent for 1 month to afford that expensive dress.
MUTE is a great button to "push" at 30:24 (onwards).!!!!! (shutting up the delayed vocal so that a viewer can READ the "on-screen-prompts", way quicker ... (in silence).
One either watches the on-screen "prompts" and reads them (in silence with the video MUTED, or one turns away from the screen and simply "listens" to the narrator, as it's terribly annoying, to read first and hear the narrator "speaking with such a MASSIVE delay" - several clips behind the video.
wtf? This is not a realistic story. Homeless is actually rich and well bred. Father watches over her and boss marries her. come on it is 2023. Not exactly a woman power story. Depend on charity of men for everything. So you conclude a woman wrote it?
Honestly, whether true or not, and taking into account, sometimes translating from other languages can make language seem a bit off... It's nice to have some short happy ending type stories to listen to in the CLOWN WORLD we currently live in!!
Well - you cocked that up didn't you. All was going well, until the "setting" in the soon to be opened restaurant. That's when you ticker-tape (on screen) dialogue, RAPIDLY outpaced your spoken words (putting them 10 miles, behind the sentences displayed on the screen. SO MUTE became the ONLY option, as I was reading the screen (as the sentences appeared) far quicker than your (very delayed) commentary Next time, don't RUSH to upload the video - do AT LEAST two "full length" replays - to check and see if your vocals are inline with the visual cues (on screen) ... Having the written words "flash past the screen" at 30:24 (onwards).!!!!! - long before your voice - "arrives doing the delayed narration" Simply means sorry - the video's audio thus became COMPLETELY "out-of-sync" and worthy of SILENCING you (via MUTE.!!!!) Apart from HAVING to do my own "reading" of the narratable content (on screen) without your voice along for the ride) ... It was a great attempt & a brilliant story.
I know not what ur native tongue is but I love ur mispronunciations Ya English is a hard language to learn. U do good but some of the words in English r not English but may be French, German, Latin or Spanish Take the word Chevrolet. It is pure French so the et on the end is pronounced as a long "A" Thus the word is pronounced Chevrola. Then there is "oo" this has three dif provocations I give u kudos for what u have learn. Now there's a word for u kudos. The 'u" is done as if it were a shot 'O"
@@lifenarrated6836 Also - make sure - AFTER you edit the audio INTO the video photo clips, that your voice MATCHES the on-screen information - as apart from mispronuncations and incorrect words spoken - you OFTEN missed several words completely. Then to top it off, you forgot to "expand" some of the time-length of some clips, to force the video to remain in sync - with the audio track, meaning - your audio was accidentally left - miles behind the on-screen information. Thus: MUTING YOU at 30:24 (onwards).!!!!! Meant that everyone HAD to be able to read fast - or pause the VERY QUICKLY "flicked through" on-screen sentences, to read the narration themselves as by then the audio track (running) was forced into being WAY TOO SLOW and just an annoying background noise, when the viewer had ALREADY READ & watched, several narration clips flash past !!! Next time - DO NOT IMMEDIATELY PUBLISH, something edited too quickly WITHOUT "proofing it first" - you MUST WATCH for "visual clip placement" mistakes on the 1st run through, (in silence) - then unmute and LISTEN, to check that every spoken word, matches the timing of the written words ON-SCREEN Getting them out-of-sync, requires you to alter the length of certain clips, or the "timed length" of infill (no word) clips, to let the view WAIT until the voice starts talking again. That way - when a NEW SENTENCE arrives on screen your voice will be reading that for us, not - something heard, 10 miles behind the visual views.
. @robertmartens7839 it is called short type (hand) saves time as for correcting ppl mispronunciations When I mispron I am happy when ppl tell me the right way and believe me I do it am lot
Could you drag this on any longer? Even playing it at double speed I had to skip through most of the video. Then it became just a long winded "employer falls for his employee" story. What a lame, disappointing video.
This is not a realistic story. Homeless is actually rich and well bred. Father watches over her and boss marries her. come on it is 2023. Not exactly a woman power story. Depend on charity of men for everything.
Many facts did not tally, many facts were overly elaborate, the story could have been told in a more compact manner. The focus of the story shifts, and many facts were just not realistic and too coincidental
Over a minute in & I'm bored out of my mind. Can't even look at the scenery because the big ugly text across the screen spoils the view. The CC feature works fine but you override it with much larger text that make the only thing you provide to look at - worthless to the viewer. I will be telling youtube not to recommend this channel. Hope you figure out how to provide value to viewers.
