A beginner skier ends up on a black diamond run -Sunshine Village- Banff

I've done this run so many times I knew it was Shaken not Stirred before I read the description. Very fun.

Omg my boyfriend and I did this run and not only is it very steep but it is narrow. We ended up cutting through the trees on the left and skied down an equally steep run but wider.

Make me remember my 1st year skiing in sunshine too, 😂

I also attempted this run as a beginner skier in 2022. i managed to stay up but it took me about 15 minutes and my friends were calling me. Going back to attempt it again this week!

I'm actually kind of impressed. Started figuring it out in the last half.

This got me dead 😂

nightmare has happened to me at Sunshine too, it should've been marked better.

God I hope I don't make this mistake again. Just starting to ski again after having stopped for a.long time.

This brings a new meaning to tree hugger! Skiing is not your forte!

I'm a little surprised this video was aired, but it's a good learning experience. This has happened to me before. The best thing to do is take the skis off and walk to a safer run. The danger if you don't is you could fall into a tree well.

The camera doesn't do it justice. It doesn't look so bad but I'm sure it was challenging

Why was he skiing alone ?

I mean, you did have parallel skis, so I would say that you would be an intermediate blue runner.

First mistake. He is using the Volkl RTM 80 ski. This is not a beginner ski, way too stiff.

U need to learn how to put a ski back on holy that was painful
