I’m really serious when I say this, this is one of the best tutorials I’ve ever seen! I am so thankful as a student to know how this is supposed to work. Thanks so much!
Agree! and his English accent is a major plus for me as I spent a lot of time with my grandmother growing up who hailed from Bradford. Hearing an English accent plucks all my heart strings and makes me smile..🤩
Your voice is so calm it makes me feel less stressed. Thank you for not being shouty like so many other tutorials. I’m so grateful it really makes a huge difference.
I've resisted One Note for years while a looked for an app that did what One Note does. I'm not the brightest spark plug in the engine and I would still be chugging along if it were not for your brilliant tutorial. Thank you, Thank you.
I just switched to OneNote after using Evernote for years after an Evernote required subscription upgrade during which the entire process deleted a bunch of my notes. Anyway, I needed to learn OneNote quickly and this was a superb quick introductory tutorial. You're an excellent instructor. Thank you.
Thank you for the introduction to OneNote. As others have said, your voice is so calm that it really helps when navigating 🧘♀ What I particularly like is having your tutorial on one screen and setting up my OneNote on another, with the visuals confirming that I'm navigating in the right place 👍
I recently retired after 35+ years of active military service and moved into the private sector. I've long been a paper note taker, with literally dozens of journal pads saved for reference over the years. I think OneNote has the potential to replace my journals and I'm especially intrigued by the cross-device interoperability. However, I'm anxious to see if it will work with an Android pad & pen (ie Samsung Galaxy note). I don't want to be "forced" (admittedly a little bias there) into the Apple world but the ability to take notes by hand is critical to my job, or at least to my own sanity. I appreciate tutorial and keep up the great work!
This is the most comprehensive, straight forward, ad free, tutorial for Microsoft OneNote. OneNote is indeed the best note taking app. Especially for me as an Electronics Engineering major. Good job. #onenote #OneNote
I can usually intuitively pick up how to use any software but I was having the hardest time adapting OneNote. This tutorial really helped with the overall picture on how to use this tool. Thank you Collaboration Coach.
Great video, I haven't used OneNote before, and I was always curious about it's purpose, I'll definitely be using it going forward. No more sticky notes getting lost!
I cant believe how useful this tutorial is. I've just discovered onenote which I'm rather ashamed of not having done before. It's fab. Thank you. And your video is clear, well spoken and so explanatory. I'm training in UX design and I needed something clear and functional and you have just helped me save hours of organisation.
So much great talent on RU-vid. God bless you for making this video to help someone in need that you don’t even know. You have a prayer soldier for life.
Probably some of the mose straight forward tutes for one note I've seen to date! Was always curious about how to use it but the ones I've watched have either over explained or under explained it's capabilities Thank you!
I am thankful for a RU-vid guide without obnoxious music, a speaker who enunciates words clearly and slowly. As a 70-yr-old, I am still trying to learn! One question: I want to move photos from my laptop to my PC. Do I send to myself? Or do I put photos in the Cloud from one device and then sign in on another device to access?
@@CollaborationCoach Thank you for the guidance for an "old" person! I wish all "How to" guides on this format were as clear and concise as yours. You know how to "teacher speak"...most RU-vidrs do not!!
Thank you for a good overview - helpful. I want to use notebook within teams making online classes and study for my class with the students being sitting home each of them. They do exercises for me and in order to be able to give personal notes in an easy way, I would like to use the notebook - but preferably as a class-notebook where I can give individual notes to exercises. Could you make a video which illustrates how to use Notebook this way, I would be thankful.
Thank you sir, I am confused about notebook section and pages. now I am clear with each items. I really like the pace of your voice, I can follow through without pulsing the videos. please keep up the good work.
This short tutorial was extremely helpful and has given me a quick boost back into the world of OneNote. I hadn't used it in decades but am excited about using it daily! Thank you!
Thankyou so much for an awesome tutorial. I am currently using Onenote and had no idea how to even start using it. This tutorial is super helpful. Suddenly, Onenote is making so much sense to me. Thankyou.
I have been struggling with One-note for years together. But I understood most of the basics here by listening to you. Thank you. Please let us know how can we express our thankfulness to you other than writing a few lines here.
Thank you so much. This was very helpful to get started on OneNote. I am a non-traditional college student that just started a course that is using OneNote and had no clue how to utilize this app.
Thank you, that was a very clear and to the point tutorial! I've literally just started using OneNote, the plan is mostly for notes and thoughts relating to ongoing projects, in tandem with a to-do list app. I am quite a 'make lots of freeform notes' sort of person so it is probably going to be very useful to me. Again, thank you.
Wow!! I don't really know what to say...This was fantastic!!!! Thank you so much!!! As a mature age student and I mean in age, you have made this so easy. I can't thank you enough. You are totally sensational and I am beyond grateful. I am subscribing to you!
Excellent. I've watched many OneNote tutuorials and none of them helped. This is the first one that really made me think I could use OneNote effectively. Thanks!
Thanks for the guide. Have been using OneNote for a while now mostly on a Lenovo Yoga laptop and an iPad and the cloud storage is really great. I didn't knwo about the sharing a link so others can add/edit my notebook and didn't know about dictating. So thanks for that
I think is was a great video. I was scared to used OneNote for a long time because I did not know how to use it and I though it was going to be hard, but you made it look so it. Now I can give it a try. Thank you!
I agree with Yoshi Yoshi. Fantastic tutorial. I work for a local water agency and I'm retiring end of this year. I needed to document task procedures for the next person who will take charge of my position so it was recommended by one of our IT people to use OneNote. What a wonderful surprise to find this tutorial to help me support and share my notes with my successor. Respectfully with great appreciation. 🙂
I am writing a historical fiction novel. I was trying to keep all my notes on paper, but that very quickly became a nightmare. Plus, I will be traveling a lot while I'm writing, so I really need my notes available, no matter where I am. I think OneNote will work well for this project.
Even using a different version from several years later for my work this information is so well put I had no problem at all determining where things had been moved to.
I just came across this and am so thankful, have been struggling trying to work out how to use this, implemented at work with no training, so very handy indeed! Now have myself organised and going to look up some more intermediate and advanced tutorials
Thanks so much for reminding me that I can use "speak to text" in One Note. This is going to allow me to work longer and save my back from leaning forward to type .
Thank you for your video, it was helpful. I’m hoping to use One Note to organize my daughters homeschool work. We use Rocketbook to write. And then I hope to keep it organized in one note.
Thank you for the tutorial help me get started in using OneNote as a daily diary for my work. However, just one correction: On Mac for dictation it's not the function button but the control button. Hit the control button twice and you can dictate on Mac.
brother the data and information you gave about the one note will help me alot in future so thank you for time to make this video and upload keep it up and stay safe !
@@CollaborationCoach i just purchased a asus rog zephyrus g14 with gtx 1650ti for my school and multimedia projects and i was confused how to use the microsoft apps that came with the laptop so searched and your video popped up and i watched and i loved it man keep sharing and always stay safe
Thanks for providing a very useful and effective tutorial for using Onenote for beginners like me. A very neatly presented and thoughtfully written presentation to give just whats required for a beginner. Appreciate it!
Nice introduction to OneNote. I've never used it before today. Your video went over some really cool and useful features that I hope to utilize someday. Thank you.
I was actually trying to find a way to organize my thoughts and process to begin making RU-vid video. I have been researching mind mapping, but I think this might be just what I was looking for! Thank you so much!
