I love non-fiction. Religion, Comparative Religion, Mysticism, Theology, and Philosophy. I don’t read much fiction, currently reading divergent as a break from Hegel lol. I want to read more dystopian sci fi in the future. Also literary fiction, for the themes and analysis relevant to real life, and culture, not really for enjoyment.

i agree with ta-nehisi coates and the writing style. i remember there was this one word that he would always use that sounded so upright when a lot simpler of a word could have been used, and the book had the vibe of being overwritten. but content wise, i loved it as much as you did. very successful wrap-up!!

I live for nonfiction, tbh. Conan O’Brien called Robert Caro’s LBJ series “our Harry Potter” but I don’t know who “our” refers too. Tl; dr; read Robert Caro, maybe 🤷🏻‍♀️🥥🥩🛌⏳
