Yup, the taxis are crisscrossing and getting in the way of bikes- very accurate

Not exactly protected from cross streets or taxies darting out driveways. And it looks like its only wide enough for one way traffic. As effective as single track. Its an improvement, a token, the best compromise available as all bike lanes are.
