@@ElGatix123 I think that the hardest thing for me to just getting used to playing it so much that finding an opportunity to land Neheb is key. If you think you'll get swarmed, try to land Neheb early and start the beatdown early. But if you have to be defensive, just try to find the wipes. Like the pyrocasm/saga that does 1 and then 3 on the last page. If creature heavy strategies are super annoying, find some more damage to all creature spells and use them. That's what could work at the very least.

I think you guys are producing great videos and are really good on camera. I really hope that your exposure and view count catches up with your quality. It seems to me that cEDH has been seeing growth as of late so I'd like to think that you'll be able to grow with it. In the final stages of putting together a super-budget-as-possible version of this to start working on and I'm really excited for it. Thanks for the ideas!

I’m late to the party, but I’ve been playing a much simpler, more casual “big red things” Neheb and I’m LOVING it. Is there anything new that should be considered in Neheb lists?

@@insertphrasehere15 Honestly, not after making/playing Neheb. The strategy isn't as streamlined (or simple), but the gameplay is far more fun. A lot of mental gymnastics to rock Neheb. Easily my favorite Mono-Red Commander.

Do you have any thoughts on including Kozilek, Butcher of Truth or Ulamog, the Infinite Gyre to go infinite with Neheb and Aggravated Assault?

Where I live there's a 1v1 variant of edh called "centurion commander" with a separate banlinst (basically all fast mana like sol ring and moxes and a few fast tutors): would neheb be viable in a format like this?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think the spellbinder seething song aggravated assault line works because aggravated assault says only activate it any time you could activate a sorcery. You cast seething song during combat, and therefore you won't have the Mana when you go to activate aggravated assault during the next main phase.

One thing I have to say about alhammeret's archive is that when you tap out to cast it enables you to be threatening to win on that turns attack step.

Dude, haha... Urza, Gitrog, some other Commander and *Neheb.* That was the *Epicenter* game I was referring too... Absurd. No one comes back easy from a MLD play: *Neheb* does. -Patrick

So... 6 to Cast and 2 to Equip. 🤔 8 cmc in total for the Combo to fly and then at least 6-to-7 Lands... The issue here is that, we don’t generally hit the 6-to-7 Land mark, haha. However, slower Meta, perhaps there’s a slot. -Patrick

How do you feel about the other mono red neheb as a commander? He’s one of my favorite decks I have. I have this neheb in the 99 but haven’t tried it as a commander.

I think, with *The Eternal,* the Mana is roughly as easy to gain if not favoring *The Eternal* a bit more; but the previous Neheb offers no Card advantage. This is where I find the *Dreadhorde Champion* superior. Card advantage in Red is hard to come by and even if it comes by way of *Looting,* we are able to manipulate this to our advantage. 4cmc > 5cmc, 5/4 body is more than adequately resilient and the range of support in Mono Red for *Dreadhorde* is there. Personally, I’ve never considered Brewing the previous Neheb(s), but this one I can state works extremely well. What gameplan do you run for your *Eternal?* -Patrick

@@LocalGameGroup I have a few combos. Repercussion and blasphemous act have won me many games (I run very few creatures). I go crazy with my commander and cards like flame rift, acidic soil, slagstorm, and price of progress to make tons of mana cheaply to fuel a series of x cost spells for board wipes/targeting players, and damage doublers. Besides that i run relentless assault for infinite combat steps. I've been testing incorporating discard into my deck so I've put in bag of holding, chandras regulator, neheb dreadhorde champion, tectonic reformation, and some flashback like recoup, faithless looting and seize the day. My group isnt the most competitive so I'm not too worried about being super fast but I've been wanting to figure how good I can make the deck for some time. I can definitely see how good dreadhorde champion can be with card selection and I might make the switch after watching these videos. I just enjoy the extreme amounts of mana neheb the eternal can make lol

Yeah, *The Eternal* looks like it would be a fun list! I bet Finale of Promise has seen a lot of play in it, to recur those mass/damage Spells. I may brew a variant for fun... I’m still working out the kinks on a Chainer (Adept) list. 😵 It’s tough making the best of his limited toolbox. At any rate, let me know if you make the switch to *Dreadhorde Champion!* Play style is very different than *The Eternal,* and you may enjoy. 👹

I love my neheb deck, I found your videos and became a fan of your game play videos and stumbled upon your neheb list. Your list and my list are pretty different, I was curious about how you feel about Expedite or Crimson whisp? They both replace themselves, give him haste, and they can be discarded to net the mana and card. Essentially digging yourself a card deeper, giving him haste, and not losing a card, for free. Also what do you think about Anger? My list runs every tormenting voice like effect I can, and I love discarding anger on a turn one faithless looting.

I have never been able to conveniently bin *Anger...* No idea why. I just don’t run him anymore. Also, we’re predominantly looting with Neheb in this list, so by the time *Anger* gets binned Neheb is usually doing his thing. I don’t mind the cantrips you mentioned, but I’d consider the Red Cartouche for one of them... Haste, Buff, takes down a Blocker... Good early/mid/late game. However, I find slow rolling, getting our Draw and playing from there is safer/surer at exacting a win. Knowing what your Hand holds before the Attack is beneficial. -Patrick

Yup, always a worthy inclusion in Mono Red. The benefit here being: the *Dreadhorde Champion* loots through our Cards, helping us assemble any one combo.

Soon as I saw the spellbinder I said "Yes! here comes Savage Beating!" then you said a combo that needs sundial...thats when I knew Final Fortune was coming. I honestly couldn't believe you were crazy enough to do it, and I was very excited to find you were! Your channels content is definitely some of my favorite out there. Seems like a group of guys after my own heart, keep it up Patrick.
