If you hadn't already built the sturdiest, most overbuilt pump house out of earth bags I'd say this is the sturdiness, most overbuilt pump house I've seen. 🤣 keep up the great work. Excited for the house build to start.
Looking soooo professional. Ocho is looking so cute. Everyone is looking healthy and happy. Believe me when I say, if there is some place you don't want any feet, hands, beaks, etc. The wee animals will find a way to leave their calling cards. Best Wishes from Edmonton Alberta Canada
Ashley, you are the master at building stuff. Since I'm a girl (60 year old girl), I love watching the women out there doing their stuff. My problem is that I can't measure anything correctly. So I try to keep it simple, until I get my measuring skills dialed in...and that may never happen 😏 Great job everyone! Love y'all ❣️ see you in the next one. ❤️🌵☀️⛈️🌈☮️🐎🐐
You are an absolutely awesome family, I’ve been watching for a few months now and I’m amazed at all that you have accomplished. Keep the faith, smiles, and good vibes rolling….GOD bless you all!
Hello ,Shiny family♥♫♪ greetings from Serbia. I enjoy watching the dream which you are building with your ability, perseverance, love and happiness. Happy weekend TSH♥♪♫♪.
Bonjour la famille. it's Friday, here far from the new pump house iteration, and y'all are just 'killin' it !' the plans and cerebral plans are pure genius. precision measures for the anchor bolts. yikes, i've never so lucky. the cement pour was the 'cats meow !!' i can't find additional superlatives that extol passion and enthousiasm employed on this new project. The Aéroport and its electrical supply shed/house will be the talk of the town. The group effort again showed us that y'all sure know how to 'Waaang it !' Many thanks for a week of vidéos and your smiles.
Good morning you guys how you guys doing this morning you guys are working together that's good make sure everything is works together that way nobody gets hurt all right you guys have a great day we love your videos your videos are good keep up the good work
Ashley, I'm like you in that I will stare at a problem until I can see the plan and solution in my mind, and then doing it is a snap. My husband is like Jonathan - he needs to calculate and map out, going so far as to set up calculation in excel! My eyes go glossy with math, but when I tackle a job with the plan in my head, it works. Both have skills that complement the other's!
Love the curtains behind you Ashley! Yay, proper pad underneath the pumphouse. Rats, wrong size boards, back to the hardware store. Nice building on the fly Ashley. Wow, you guys really know how to pour a pad now! It looks fantastic! Just another trip to the hardware store for more concrete. Good idea to have the overflow drain! I love the little pebble TSH on the pad. I'll have to see what those rods do. Now I get it! That really looks nice with the timber base. You did really good drilling the holes for the rods! That was a good idea to place the frame over the rods and drill out the clearance for them so the frame could be set down over them. I like how you figured out the roof Ashley. It seems like you have this construction down. Maybe you have built a pumphouse before? A time or two? Ocho was really cute attacking the owl decoy. Thanks for this Longneckers!
Watching you work together in harmony, using the skills God gave each of you, is wonderful! And watching Ocho teach that owl who is boss was funny! Thanks for another superb video!! Love you guys!! 💖💖💖
Beautiful! Excellent work, all cooridinated with the kids, and in your head (and plans). Perfect match! ;) Ocho is into the swing! Beautiful scenery as always. Thank you for sharing your family and building. 💛
Love that planter Ashley! 💕💕 I’m glad your videos are working their way to the top where my faves are at. I love all the progress on the property. The airport is a perfect structure to house the Tiny Shiny Home.
GM ☕️☕️. Great job 👍. My son is like you Ashley. Has it all in his head & when he tries to explain 🤔…. I’m lost 🤪. He worked with contractors before he was a teenager. It’s nice to have my morning coffee & follow as you create. Ahhhsome job 👵🏻👩🌾❣️
Great job guys!!! It's awesome getting to kinda see how other peoples minds work. You guys are learning so much and becoming faster n more efficient everytime you build something new!
Wow, well done guys. It is obvious that you both have different styles but that’s healthy as you both respect each other’s differences and don’t try to change each other. I’m so impressed.
Loving the work you all are doing. I am so excited for you. Love seeing Ocho, he is such a goofball. Thank you for sharing your time with us. Please take care and be safe
All my plans start in my head then, I take the time to draw them out. Then I scrutinize them sometimes for days, making changes, making notes. Then I estimate a material list, go to the store once, a good project I don't have to go back.
You see you can do things without plans ..It’s called girl power lol..This turned out amazing. You will be set up and you Airstream can go under cover soon and it will keep some of the worst of the weather off.Should make it warmer too in the winter as well being more protected ..Love n Light 🥰
Wow, wow, wow!! I love how you guys all come together to get projects done! The newest pump house is fabulous! How wonderful to be able to work on a solid, flat surface. I agree with you guys, that pouring a cement pad, (for the house project, to continue to be able to have a solid, flat surface to work off of) is a great idea. If you pour it closer to where your house will be, it can become a patio when your house is complete.
This was an amazing build. So much faster, well on this end 🤪. It's looking so good you guys. It was a delight to have my coffee with you this morning. Great job ❣️ Hopefully see you again real soon.
Hi, draw it and wing it😉every construction team needs both. You must embrace all talent available...and agree even after the fact😀when youre wrong🥰Nice pump house...good luck☘️❤️
I know exactly how you think Ashley. I do the same thing. I can see it before it’s built! Jonathan your amazing you and Ashley are what I’d call the Tiny Shiny Dream Team!
Thank for sharing your soundtrack titles , the last tune was really good. Always enjoy watching you guys take on the jobs tradesmen would normally do and achieve successfully.
Gearing up now to go to TN to homestead like you folks. I just bought the travel trailer last week -- 30-footer -- to get in. Then I'll take it from there. You're solving all thew problems I'll be facing. Please stop making me so jealous !
We are watching your video Sunday night and we saw your deer. Their ears are bigger than our deers. Look like the same coloring. It is cool to see animals from Az vs IN.
You two are amazing and a joy to watch! You make me want to learn how to build things. I am uncomfortable with a power saw but seeing you, Ashley, use it like a pro, inspires me. Thank you!!! Great job on pump house 3!!
Good job guys...Ashleigh sometimes winging it works great keep thinking outside the box...you can add concreter to your resume ocho still in training for site supervisor...❤
Jonathon left brain and you dear girl are creative right brain. Computers drive me crazy. My daughternsaid its because I do not think linear and computers are linear...pure cause and effect.
Yep, that'll work. Personally, I would add ball valves on each side of the pump and on the pressure tank, plus unions sot that they can be isolated from the rest of the system if/when they fail. Then they are far easier to replace, while keeping the system sealed/under gravity pressure. For future reference, there are special 'J' bolts in the concrete aisle of Home Depot, that are made for anchoring base plates to concrete pads. If the drain were in a bathroom shower, there should be ~1/2 foam wrapped around the drain to prevent it from breaking by the house settling. Often wooden boxes are used under tile floors to allow the drain to be replaced, w/o breaking up the slab. JS The box looks great. Nice job! I've always dreamed years into the future in order to keep the ducks in the right order and the horse in front of the cart. (Some of those dreams even pan out, but rarely as I had planned they would, 'cause those darn ducks won't stay in order.) Then, I focus upon each duck, to foresee any problems of stupidity. Then, I go online shopping to source all the stuff I need and to guesstimate my budget. Then, I research the mfrs' manuals and usage recommendations, so that I know what I'm getting into. Then, I watch a bunch of YT tutorials and DIY channels like yours to learn what everyone else is doing. Then, I consider ALL of the possible design options, with their pros & cons in order to visualize the whatsa-ma-jigger or thinga-ma-jig. Then, I order far more widgets than I need, because there's always something better that rears it's head. THEN, I start drawing the final design, including the measurements. Then, 1/2 way through the build, I find the same whacha-ma-jigger already OTC on aliexpress, for a fraction of what I've just wasted on my now useless widgets.😡 Otherwise, these steps makes the doing far easier and less problematic along the way. But, you two do you and I'll do me. 'Cause that's the way our lives should be. 😎
Was at the doctors the other day .. he gave me some good advise .. cut back on the carbohydrates and ease up on the coffee a smidge .. and try and cut back on the wanging .. i jurrrst thought you should know .. 😍😁😎pips pips and carryon pilgrims
Spent years dodging in and out of small pump and instrument cabinets as part of the job. Would suggest a "machine plinth" for the pump to sit on. Drains are well and good but if the pump is up on a plinth even a pressured leak should cause no permanent issues, especially if a drain is choked. A lot of the smaller cabinets like yours would omit the drain entirely from the concrete pad for quick and easy construction. You would arrive and water would be pouring from under the doors or fibreglass wall to concrete pad joints ..lol Looking good though. Maybe fit a water fllod cutout switch?
