I love Mick but given the contracts I'd drop Mick and keep O'Ward. O'Ward's got 3 years left to Mick's 5 months. The only exception is if you can get a super cheap 1 year extension so that Antonelli can quickly replace Mick after the first few races if needed. Also O'Ward has much better marketability so that might help with finances. So keep him!

@workthespace - Yuki is out of contract at the end of the first season. Sign him on a 1 year deal and then replace him at the end of your second season. If you se the race target bonus to on, and pay out at 19th place but only as a 10k bonus, it greatly improves the odds of signing the driver. I did this with Yuki and he only needed like 3-3.5m because he's so underpaid at the moment, just chuck like a 1m siging bonus as well. You are upgrading your line up, and mudding a close opposition at the same time.

The driver confidence works fine if you take little time to do the car setup after practice. I start my qualifiers with 80-90% driver confidence so my drivers are always very high to peak confidence during the race

Yeah I sim FP1/2 and do setup work in fp3 always get like 90+ setup and drivers are high confidence going into quali (sprint races just suck for setup)

You lose more for being overtaken (regardless of who does it) than for overtaking. The system is broken during the race. I agree that doing practice and set-ups is crucial for mitigating that as much as possible, though.

If I'm being honest I think I would still very much like to see at least cut down versions of all races. I like to see both the highs and lows that you go through.

The issue is they often feel like filler episodes, sometimes it's just impossible to make a race entertaining. If 2 shorter races work together like Monaco and Canada did that's fine but the Spain race really didn't have much happen. Given I want the RU-vid videos to keep up with the streams sometimes skipping a race or two helps with that.

I don't think the fuel delta counts that you do one lap fewer, so you could've pushed Mick's fuel all the way to the line there, maybe P9 was a possibility albeit a slim one

The fact that you can't properly unlap yourself is a bit annoying, Mick could have gotten P8 in that Race Also while the blue flags are working much better compared to the beginning of this game series, I think they need to have two ways of implementing blue flags, one for quali where the drivers slam on the brake like they do now, and one where they let them through on the straights without loosing 2 seconds. They already have the mechanic of drivers not overtaking the car in front, so that should be something they can do
