I’m a loyal carnival cruiser, hitting Platinum 2 years ago. If carnival opened up perk matching between their brands, 100% would encourage my family to try some of the other lines under their umbrella. As far as perks, the 2 that matter to me are priority embarking/debarking And the free laundry services I’ll be happy as long as those two stay

I wish and hope that Carnival gets the same idea from Royal Caribbean because I would love to try new lines, without having to start from scratch!!!

I believe Carnival Cruise Lines should give us the same perks match as Royals has done.

I really value the laundry perk under Platinum.

I would like to see the points match between Carnival's brands. I think more people would have an incentive to sail other cruise lines under the Carnival umbrella.

As others have said, we love the free laundry service perks. Embarkation perks we like better than the disembarkation 'cause we're never in a hurry to get off the ship. Maybe the ships can specialize in private island cruises or foreign country cruises, and let the cruisers sign up for their favorite itineraries.

I would love for Carnival to merge their loyalty program across brands. We would try princess and maybe Holland. I would do a cruise on Carnival that went to half moon cay and celebration key and nowhere else. I think it would be great for a cruise just like going to the beach for the weekend.

We are Platinum almost to Diamond. Would love for the status to be Honored on the other cruise lines that Carnival has. Priority embarkation/debarkation and the free laundry are great.

Would love to use the Drink Package on the Carnival private islands. Crazy that the food and drinks utilized on the island come from the ship.

Would love to see honoring across princess. I wish the casino credit would turn I to just OBC so it can be used anywhere. Last trip I had a hard time getting into the casino, then had to wait in line to get the credit. I would have preferred to use it to play bingo or something like that.

I don't understand why people are making a big deal out of Royal's "new" matching. They have matched between Royal and Celebrity for as long as I can remember. The change they made is adding Silversea which doesn't mean much to many people. What I was hoping to see as someone who is building status is for them to combine points into one program.

I definitely hope Carnival follows suit, & do the same as what Royal Caribbean is doing 👍

We would love for Carnival to accept cruise days from Princess.. we did a 10-day on Princess in Europe this past year. We would have preferred to sail Carnival but they didn't have the same Itinerary. We are doing the same thing again in 2025, already booked a 12-day on Princess. Its not much, but it would be nice.

We would very much enjoy Carnival matching status to princess and Holland America… We have an 18 day cruise on Holland America and would love to have the free laundry perk… That would be amazing… as of right now and we have been cruising since 1993 we have not ever cruised on princess but having extra perks from Carnival would be a good reason to give princess a try which we have always wanted to do but have not… I was wondering if you were going to mention that MSC status matches all cruise lines loyalty… Took our first cruise with MSC in 2017… They matched our highest level of loyalty which automatically enrolled us in their diamond program… I think they are a little more strict now but they still do it which I think is fabulous Yes… My husband and I love private islands so we would embrace the idea of going to two different private islands at one time… That's just our opinion though.... but I would definitely NOT like it to be an amusement park type of island😞

I mostly go for beach days or beach clubs so two private islands days works for me. People can choose their own itinerary based on their likes. No need to criticize others for their choices.

Loyal Diamond Carnival cruiser. I've always wondered why an inside cabin earns VIFP points at the same rate as balcony or suite. We always book a balcony cabin, yes they cost more than an inside but your loyalty points are awarded the same. It would be nice if perk matching between their brands would be attractive, opening up different itineraries and experiences.

Looking for content ideas? ….I loved your video on how to get an early boarding time on Carnival. It came in handy before my first Carnival cruise. I think little everyday tips and tricks would be a good idea.

I would rename the: Carnival VIFP club , to Carnival FUN Club. I would do on Carnival - Use the Drink coupon at anytime at a bar during the week “ instead of the last day of the cruise.” $ 5.00 credit at video arcade for all ages

Your status is matched to whichever line you have that is highest, but the points are not aggregated. If you have 21 points on RC and take a 7 day trip on Celebrity, you still only have 21 points, not 28. THAT is what we want!

Great update. I prefer actual island love seeing the locals. Maybe just 1 private per cruise.😊

I prefer actual port calls. My wife has sensitive skin, so she doesn't want to hang out on the beach.

Which cruise line’s loyalty program has the best perks? Maybe do a video comparing the loyalty programs of the most popular cruise lines.

I am worried about them changing the program this year as I am 5 days away from Platinum. I have a 7-day cruise booked for February of 2025. I will not be a happy camper if they take what I've been working towards away from me and make it harder. My wife is in the same position as she is 12 days away from Platinum and we have a second cruise with Carnival booked in December of 2025 so she will be turning platinum. Looking forward to the laundry service.

I, personally would not book an itinerary with 2 private islands. As a disabled individual who travels solo and utilize a mobility scooter, the beach is not my friend.

John Heald said the new VIFP program would be announced this year and implemented some time next year.

I wouldn't want 2 private islands on my itinerary. I'd much rather go to traditional port of calls. One private island stop is enough.

Private islands will become more and more the norm because with all these new huge cruise ships there are no new places to go.

Hi Derek & Amanda:) here’s a couple of ideas for future content 1. Sailing out of New York City and finding the most economical hotels and transfers 2. Trans Atlantic cruises.. what is the most economical port for embarking for example Australia versus Sydney 3. Mediterranean cruises..logistics and what to see and do you recommend a couple extra days 4. Hawaii …is there enough time to see it all? 5. Australia .. is there enough time to see it all 6. Japan.. is there enough time to see it all

I've only cruised on Carnival ships but I would like to try Princess( ready for a change).I'm older and ready for a more laid back cruise line. I'm hoping Carnival Corp does the same as RC so my points roll over to Princess.

A decent amount of onboard credit when you reach a certain loyalty level so the cruiser can choose how to spend. Maybe they will use it for specialty dining, shore excursions or drinks.

We cruise on Carnival almost exclusively, however Princess sends us offers and we have followed up on those offers. When we ask if they can match tier status, their response is "We are a separate company."

I think MSC also has status match

March as we are platinum on Carnival turning Diamond in our October back to back cruise. We will be cruising Princes in 2025 and would love to have match VIFP perks.

I have taken two cruises so far, both in late May/early June, both to the western Carribean. I have to admit that I was just two doggone hot to even hang out on the lido or on the beach. My perfect weather is about 75° to 77°. I work in the school system so the best times for me to cruise is late May to early July and mid-December to early January. Considering this, what cruises would be best for me? I'd like to see videos about this sort of dilemma. Thank you.

Great stuff as always brother…I definitely think Carnival will add some great perks, I just feel like it’s going to take a lot more days to get them, 300 days might be top level which would really cut down on Diamonds…and what Platinum level now is.. to get similar benefits I think it will take DOUBLE the current 75 days

Currently on the Carnival Pride 10 days at sea have not got off at a port yet, is this going to be a 14 day cruise to nowhere

one of the issues I see with Carnival and the VIFP members (as I am Platinum) and there is so many Platinum members and really Diamonds. They need to split them out with more levels.

I’m a diamond but you can pay so much money and get fast fun and I don’t think that’s fair to diamonds or platinum because I had to earn mine. I just couldn’t throw out money out there and diamond don’t get any more than platen so I think should be treated better.

This sucks....We only have 5 more days till Platinum and our next cruise isn't until Nov. I bet Carnival bumps those that haven't reached Platinum down by adding another level.

I would like to see Carnival revamp their loyalty program. I have a higher status with Princess and would like to receive some perks with Carnival. Private islands have become my favorite due to the over commercialization of many of the islands. Plus, all islands are getting over crowded.

I was hoping they would combine points as well. The perks RC gives us as gold and diamond members is basically nothing and if your new to RC you get nothing. Gold is a speck and emerald is nothing as well. As you get to diamond its just a hand out above nothing.

In Australia when you cruise p&o Australia u earn status with Princess I never cruised princess yet but up high in there loyalty program because I done 8 cruises on p&O AUS so yes thay can do it thay do in Australia you join up to princess using your p&o number code thay give you

It's a terrible idea it's going to drastically increase the number of people with the same loyalty level on board which eventually will lead to diluted benefits because The Cruise Company is going to see that they are giving out way too many drinks way too many churches way too many priority check-ins and they won't be able to accommodate it across those lines
