I believe we are guilty of doing our own ‘pick n choosing’, on our own, only to reap our own messes, but allow Him to do the ‘pick n choosing’ for us now! But be sure to repent of our own self will & even rebellion! God bless
God has always sought his people both in the old testament and in the new both with the Jews and the gentiles. I wasn't looking for God I was living my life going down a bad road and like Paul I experienced a personal damascus road experience I was hanging out with the wrong crowd at 17 and at 19 I stopped hanging out with the wrong crowd they didn't like that at 19 I had Jesus in my life I stopped drinking with them partying with them and started telling them about Jesus and they didn't want me in their life anymore they said I wasn't fun anymore.
I run have run into several women with “Jezebel spirit”. Because the lord has called me to plural marriage and forbid me from ever getting a marriage license he has sent me woman he could not give a husband other wise because of their problems. It is kinda funny watching a lady freak out after she tells you that you are her husband and I inform her she will have sister wives and I can not get a marriage license.
Until your heart matches what your Words are saying. God is not gonna give you a husband that ur gonna destroy cause your walking with a spirit of sadness and melancholy
I didnt get through the whole video yet buttt I just wanted to share that a few years ago, while I was in the middle of a really bad situation, I prayed and told God that I did not like being single and that I couldnt for the life of me see it as a blessing. I know some people are called to it and I know for sure I am not one of those people lol. But I also asked God to help me to be content while I am here and to see the fun in it. Because if He purposes for me to be here for a little while it would make sense to not only learn and grow in this season but to also have fun. Years later I am enjoying my time being single. God blessed me with three amazing friends that I can travel with, go places with, talk to all day long, and just have a good time. All from church. One of them is married but she imparts so much wisdom in us about waiting on God for marriage and being patient for His best. I believe that when the time is right God will send the right man into my life. And when that time comes our marriage will bring glory to God and fufill what its supposed to fufill. In the mean time I pray that I will continue to keep having fun as a christian and to enjoy my single season and not rush it.

I thought I knew what I wanted in a man, and everytime I got what I had wanted I still felt empty. So one day I prayed, I really cried out to God and asked God to bless me with the man who he thought was right for me, not who I thought was right for me. Three months later, I met the man God had wanted me to be with. His mother had prayed for the exact same thing ("God send my son the woman you think is right for him") Two prayers connected us. We are now happily married. He has a heart of gold, very handsome and tall. It is not about the looks but what I am trying to say is that God really blessed me with more than I could have even imagined. God's plans were far more greater ethan my own! Never ever forget that! One major thing is to also have forgiveness from past relationships, good or bad, forgive and move on, these two things will allow for God to work wonders into your life. God has many blessings and we just need to be open to recieve them. Your words have the power to control your life, your words can either curse you or bless you. You are a child of God our King, which makes you my darling royalty! God has a Prince waiting for you! Believe that your Godly man is coming, the power is in your mouth and your thoughts, by trusting in the Lord with all your heart, he will indeed bless you.

You are speaking so much truth Ally. I can’t expect to be in a relationship when I’m still dealing with the baggage of my past. I’ve always loved my singleness but I’ve been subject to ‘planning’ and walking in offence and other sinful nature. I need to destroy or be aware of my damage before God can bring another being into my life and I need to learn to love my fellow male counterparts as well as myself before I can go down the path of marriage. You deserve to have a husband in your life and you don't deserve the hurt and pain,. You have to give that all to God daily, until you are emptied and then filled again. Yes we don't deserve CHRIST we can never be too good for Him but man? We must be at a certain maturity in order to be in something as serious and responsible as marriage. My opinion.
Sometimes people in the church judge others for their sins and push them away from God. The Bible says not to let man make you feel inferior for your sins. Everyone sins and all sins are equal, and judging someone for their sins and keeping them from God because of your judgement is a sin on another person.
Mmmmmm you shouldn't be willing to trust anyone right away. Your focus should always be on Jesus. You should never glorify or praise people per se. People will always be people regardless. Adam Butts you are so right! Today's world is violently messed up. The gospel is rarely preached today, and sin is acceptable and rampant in many churches. I am afraid that people see God as a cosmic Santa Claus and think he doesn't require obedience anymore. They think I'll just sin all the more and God will still let them into Heaven. Sadly most of these people will end up in Hell. To me I want Heaven more than anything else. So suddenly marriage seems the least of my concerns!

It's up to the individual to use their season, or even lifetime, of singleness, as a positive. Or you can use it as a negative, too. Dear Ally, I have a lot of struggles that most of them are similar to yours. Im 30 and i think im ready for commitment. But, when i saw this video of yours, i am certain that to be a wife is not just a title, there is a lot of things in my life, a lot of attitude of mine that have to change in order for me to carry the responsibility of being a wife and a mother in the future. Like you, i also set a time frame of my life, which did not turn out the way i expect it to be. I had several relationships that all of them were not i truly in love with. But towards the end of the video God revealed that I'm not in offense by ALL men..just black men..Those are the men I can't trust..I'm always thinking to date outside my race because I've been hurt so much by them...thru my brothers, father, uncles..I'm always thinking why can't they just " man up??" ..thank you for this Ally! I thought I had finally found my match!!!!!! It's been a hard breakup, but I honestly took a dip, like you, and it was so painful at the time, and after the period of terrrrrrible pain, I started thing by thing digging into God. I had gone to a Spiritual gifts study which was the light of my weeks. I learned my calling and purpose God had over my life, and I have just been closening? myself to the Lord in a way like never before. My faith is deeper, my roots are deeper, and my convictions are crazier and more prevalent than ever. So that I can get close to God. So, take heart, because your upgrade is coming.
Pinkcupcake44 well like I said, the spiritual gifts study was the highlight for me. we had a list of callings (all of us have one of the 7) and I just spent my time in that. I learned my calling the first week there's (Prophet Servant Teacher Exhorter Giver Ruler Mercy) so I got Prophet and was so super stoked. I spent my time investing in learning what prophets do etc etc. The second week I got my secondary which was Servant. (It's like how God ordained is that?! It's like He made this study for me or something, and the order is like that in the Bible as well and they also go along with Tabernacle items in the OT. I believe they're listed in Corinthians 12. Our third was Teacher, which was my ex. That gave me so much closure because I had seen the list of immature vs mature characteristics for a Teacher. Mistakes love for infatuation was one of them and of course he was the whole immature side. So this list explained to me his characteristics, why he wanted to devote more time to family than me, etc etc. Because he basically just left me high and dry without a call or explanation, and I later learned he hit on a girl the next day. So, as we're going over the gifts, our teacher talks about pairings, and guess what my pairing was?! Well Prophets are first but Mercies are last. They go together. So it's like the Lord was saying "Valerie I'm going to give you the details of your mate last, because I want you to seek me first." So the 7th week was on Mercy, and I went and looked up RU-vid videos to find as much as a I could on a Mercy. Prophet-Mercy Servant-Ruler Teacher-Exhorter and Giver stands alone and can pair with anyone. This explained to me why the Teacher wouldn't pair well with a Prophet. Prophets can also pair together. These are typically romantic but there are variations. Aside from that, hahahah I realized I had been giving people prophetic words and words of wisdom and all of that without even noticing. Well a friend dropped me as soon as I told her this because she said I was being deceived. I stepped far away from her because anyone who's going to try to block the call that GOD has on my life is not someone I want in my corner. I a couple days ago also had a friend drop me so about 3 months after this. He was from the same church. This church was a church (Harvest Riverside) my ex had invited me to and I stopped going on Easter when I switched churches which was around the time me and my ex broke up.
Pinkcupcake44 So....to make a long story longer, as I had finally found the church God called me to which actually a friend gave me a list of three churches and it took me that long to go to them all cuz I was all awestruck with this guy who now has another gf and I know that because the friend told me I didn't ask. But basically, that's been able to allow me to move forward, especially now that I know my God ordained calling. Aside from that, I always feel like 90 days is typically how long it takes me to get over someone. I basically just sucked it up and waited for that 90 day mark. And even then I've had issues. I feel like I am still healing a bit, but this period the Lord has been cleansing me of darkness, I moved, my faith has just increased, because I was devastated for a few weeks. After then I felt like I was able to start going through the motions because it is just a feeling that so encapsulates us. But yes, I got more in my word, probably was doing a devotional, and the Lord has just taken all of this darkness out of me. One of the ladies I follow her name is Anointed Fire /Tiffany Buckner, she was saying a cleansing comes before a blessing. So basically I allowed the Lord to show me what's needed to go. This cleansing has been happening since a few months ago in that study from one word about "A Christian's life has no room for darkness in it." Well I instantly thought ADDAMS FAMILY because I was super into all that stuff before and the vampires etc. Since then I have been researching and one good video would be by Steven Bancarz who is a former New Ager now Christian speaks on occult objects we have around. So basically got all that stuff out, movies music etc, and the cleansing will go on until October because I feel like that's when the new season begins for me. I also started following the Hebrew calendar which I learned about in study, and follow many prophets who keep up with that as well. JoLynne Whitaker is my favorite. So the new season is coming soon. Right now we are in a season of new beginnings, and though the months are different than the Hebrew calendar they're about a week off and they still work. But basically I have just been seeking to get close to the Lord and growing in Him. Last night I decided I needed to get my Bible finished which I was just doing and need to get back to that now. Hahaha. But don't worry I hope this helps. Seek after God and He will reveal everything to you. He is a jealous God and He wants your time, love, idols to be gone, everything. Don't hold anything back just got for it. He doesn't want ANYTHING blocking His time and presence with YOU. Pray for greater wisdom, discernment, patience. Friends and things you thought were beneficial for you (which could include Christian radio or friends) God will show you are actually very misled. God will close doors that need to be shut so He can take you to the next opening new doors. God bless ❤🐩
Im actually going through this right now Ally. I married a woman i can truly say i loved but when i turned to my father everything I knew was wrong and he took her out of my life. "He giveth and taketh away ". I wish i could have stayed to help her but once she left me things are going crazy and are moving very fast. I am single not by choice but my boyfriend cheated on me. I learned from it, as I have from every other relationship that I have had (which aren't many). I have a lot of good things happening in my life. Since my dad has been gone to be with God I have been on my own for 2 years. It becomes very tiresome coming home to an empty table but I realize that God loves me and is preparing me for a family of my own. I really want to become a mom but I'm worried I won't be a good mother. I don't want to adopt and do it on my own because that's too hard. It only works when two people are involved. There are times I wonder if I will die alone without anyone to care for me. Yes, I get scared but I have left it up to God to do what He wants. It'll happen when it's meant to.
I'm glad I found your channel today because I've been prying for the women that God has for me and realize i'm not ready at all. The thing is I agree with you, however, no matter how healthy you are there are things marriage will help you grow in. Our relationships are designed to make us more like Christ. If it's not going perfectly for you ask God who He is for you right now? Marriage and children will put you through the best deliverance you ever had! Becoming Christ like is the main purpose of Christianity.
Jennifer Page On another note 'Jesus Christ,' himself was not married. Paul was also not married. Matthew 19:12 Jesus Christ says some people are eunuchs (celibate) for the Kingdom's sake. If she is in a season of singleness and doing Kingdom work I believe she is growing in what the Lord needs her to grow in. If Christ was single then she couldn't be more "Christlike". Marriage is the mystery of the church and Christ the Bride. Not arguing but just point it another way.

I was also in a destructive relationship now I am single, and I love my freedom. I can do anything I want to do without getting anyone else's approval. I can go sailing, I can go skydiving, I can fly my aeroplane, I can go mountain climbing, I can eat and drink what I like where I like, I can ride my motorcycle, I can travel the world. Yippee for being single! You don't have to follow societies social norms, create your own. It's your wonderful life so be happy living it. I've recently begun working through my offenses with men. I've forgiven my dad for being weak & not protecting me from evil men. I've forgiven my ex for being abusive & violent. I've forgiven my mother who did harm to me and also didn't protect me. YES, we need to work through these issues before God can release us to the person He has for us. Good Word, Sis!

I struggle with day dreaming and getting lost in my thoughts when I have a crush on someone and I struggle with patience in relationships. I need to learn to always put God in my thoughts first and to let His spirit guide me in relationships. He is teaching me. I’m 52, never married, with no kids. I live with the chronic disappointment of unmet dreams. Like you, I always saw myself as a wife and mother. I’ve never for one second of my adult life wanted to be single - but I always have been. I’m still hopeful that God will allow me to be a wife someday, but it hurts to go through life feeling rejected, “less than,” left out, and generally forgotten. Amen. This is a very true and good word. Yes we must see people as God sees them. We must heal from past trauma and wounds first. The Lord have been saying this is the season that He wants to heal us from those deep wounds that have overtaken us for so many years.
rizeuse I don't believe age= maturity or readiness...but God will let you know when you're ready. :) You could be 50 and ready or you need to be content with where you are, even if he doesn't give you a husband. God should be the love of your life. Age really isn't anything but a number and time is nothing to God.
