Hello Aly. How are you doing? Thanks a lot for the lesson ;) Well, there was a guy at our dormitory at university. He was studying medicine. Once, I went upstairs to ask him where our common friend Hakan was. When I entered the room, I saw him cleaning the study desk and the library with shaving foam. He was a bit much. - I'm going to watch The Crown a little bit. Maybe one or two episodes. Since then, I need to study my lessons. - I'm afraid I'll have to wait for a bit because of the pandemic.

Well, there are expressions in other languages where intonation tells whether you're using a word sarcastically or not. In my mother language, Italian, " un po' " simply means 'a little', but it can also mean 'a lot', too.

Why in the phrase "Lately it's been a bit much but hopefully it'll calm down soon" the second part is in Future tense ("will" form). Why isn't it in like future in the past ("would" form)? What about the Sequence of tenses since the first part is in one of the Past forms? By the way, I think it is a good topic for the new video - Sequence of tenses.
@NastjonaNew
@NastjonaNew 3 года назад
Why should it be WOULD? He's talking RIGHT now about the future. Not from the past, but from now. And it's not the quotation to change it into WOULD
