I think it's great with a very creative design! It looks indeed like a "wild scene". "Making your own bonsaï from scratch": it's the thing I personally like the most. From my own experience with growing bonsaï during several decades, I can assure you that it gives you very much experience, skills and satisfaction in the end...! Very nice, I hope Sensi Kawasaki is feeling better, I really like that pot, I am guessing it's made from cement. I would need a bigger kiln to make one from clay.

The laricio pine is native to southern Europe so it is traditionally seen from Spain to Crimea. It can also be seen in several plantations in Asia Minor, Cyprus and even in the Atlas Mountains of Morocco, with the largest area of distribution located in Turkey. The scientific name of the Laricio Pine is Pinus nigra. In the Spanish territory there is a variation of this species called Prepirineo, which we can also appreciate in the outer mountain ranges, although there are cases where we find repopulations that were carried out using a sub species of nigra, known as the Austrian Laricio Pine. This laricio pine is closely related to the Scotch pine.
