I JUST REALIZED I CALLED "HOMEGOING" HOMECOMING I AM SO EMBARRASSED THAT I DIDN'T EVEN NOTICE IT IN EDITING; INSTEAD IGNORE MY IDIOTNESS AND CARRY ON PLS
573.000 subscribers? Don't get me wrong, I am not a hater, on the contrary, I find her sweet but the only thing that got my attention is the number of subscribers... What do others see including Barnes & noble that I don't? What I miss? She is colorless, tasteless, flat, and nude. She must be very young. She will become better on the way, she' ll find a unique character and style. Until then, I won't be following her!
@@exoticmoods1650 i don't think this is necessary to bring up if you don't enjoy her you can leave. we adore her and her sponsorship must trusted this sweet lady then she deserves it.

Can I just compliment how your background music is EXACTLY the right volume. Like what the heck why do some youtubers turn it up so much that we can’t hear them?
simpliemaria check out a website called thrift books !! I get all my books from there otherwise I wouldn’t be able to support my unhealthy amount of reading 😅
Check your local libraries out, they sell books too; a lot of them are in amazing condition, cheap in the name of mother nature, and look very new, and a lot of them are currently popular books.
the way you make me feel is such a genuinely amazing book,,, i’m white and i’ve never been out of my country but through that book i learned about so many cultures and so many people it was just insane!! i read it about a year ago and every time i read it or even see the cover it makes me smile because i love it so much🥺
mmh I realllly like your videos, their content, the music, your cozy voice, all that little atmosphere ✨ oh and thank you for all those recommendations, so excited to read new books
I definitely recommend ‘Tomorrow there will be Apricots’! It’s a beautiful story about accepting the people we love- the people we have to love and the people we choose to love, the families were given and the families we make.
i am not your perfect mexican daughter is so good and i related to it so much. it had me on the edge of my seat bc i was so excited to find out what happened next! you define fly get a strong storyline with this book!
Your channel motivates me to read. I love to read but I need to be in the mood. And your videos do exactly that. I can’t believe I didn’t find your channel earlier! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
once you broke out call me by your name, they both die at the end, and history is all you left me I geeked out so hard. I love those book and when you talked about them it floored me I just uahhhhhgggg. I'm sorry I just really love your aesthetic and the way you do things cause you have so many of the same interests as me. so the fact that you also own a copy of those books I don't know, it just made me really happy.
I totally agree with you about CMBYN. I Watched the movie about 5 times the summer of 18 and only recently read the book and now i'm waiting fr the perfect time to watch the movie when i'm mentally and emotionally prepared to cry and die bc its beautiful but now know what they feel throughout and appreciate it even more ehee
i read 'history is all you left me' & 'they both die at the end' this/last month and boy did i want to throw the books across the room because they were so SO soooo good
This is the first time i saw someone mention "they both die at the end" In a book haul video. I really liked the book. It was different and made me feel some strong emotions and that happens rarely. So, i was kinda happy when u mentioned it!
ahh you’ll love i am not your perfect mexican daughter! i finished it in august and i absolutely loved it. you did get the gist of the book but i think the main thing (this isn’t a spoiler it says it in the beginning chapter and is what the entire book is based around) is the death of her sister and what happened after that with her family this was also uploaded on my birthday so thank you very much (i’m currently obsessed with book hauls)
you most definitely have a good taste in books. i love reading but lately i have nothing to read. i would really appreciate it if you made a video with book recommendations or you’re top favorite books. thank you if you read this btw love your videos!
you are so well-spoken, you remind me of mia marion (because she's a book lover too, but you both speak very softly and eloquently). you're so cool, i want you to be my friend!! this video made me want to read!!
I literally teared up when you mentioned you read Americanah and how you're interested in learning about the African perspective. As an African myself (Cameroonian to be more precise) I'm always so happy when we are represented authentically because the world still holds such a backward view of us and just hearing that you're open to that just makes me so happy!!
Am i the only one who loves her accent and the way she speaks? I really love listening to youuu and love the books u picked up. I read the two books of adam silvera and i was inlove with it. You made my tbr list longer hahaha thank youu ♡
This is the first video of yours I've watched and I literally JUST got home from seeing Crazy Rich Asians. I'm honestly so in love with that movie right now! SO excited to hear about a sequel.
THEY BOTH DIE AT THE END IS ONE OF THE FEW BOOKS THAT MADE ME CRY PLEASE ENJOY!!! i also preferred it a lot more to history. and everything i never told you and dear martin are on my tbr. i hope to get within the next few months!
I absolutely love your book recommendations, I know that you have great taste in literature which reflects genuine concerns in society 💘 I really admire you for that
i'm currently reading call me by your name and it is such a wonderful book, i'm so excited to go on holiday very soon so i can read more, i can just imagine myself sitting by the beach and reading for hours ☺️ even took some notes right now so i can get more books for then 😄💕
i absolutely adore you linh, i literally found ur channel like three weeks ago n u r so positive ive been binging ur vids and it makes me feel so much better
Hey Lihn!!!!! I’ve been reading a book called “ The Mountains Sing”. It’s a true story about a young girl during the Vietnam War. And the author is the girl. Definitely a great read!!! 📚 😃
Omg so luckyyyyyy!!!! I’ve wanted Call Me by Your Name for the longest time because it’s my favorite movie ever but I don’t have the money. 😞 My mom won’t let me buy any books. I know it’s kinda a first world problem because I have a local library but sometimes I just want a few of my own books to treasure. :(
Can anyone else, take a moment of silence. To appreciate her love for books. And most importantly! Let us not forget. Her love for the authors, that she actually memorized thier names. And other books. And the story plots! WITH the names, of the settings and characters?? Like yooooooooo, I do that as well. And having to see someone also do those. Just make me feel: 💜😔👌
I was searching for a book haul video and I came across yours and I'm so glad I did. You are amazing and I love your energy. I didn't even hesitate and just hit the subscribe button after you described the first read. Most of these books I already have in my cart ready to go. I'm glad that someone has the same similar taste in literature.
I’m so glad you’re reading Homegoing because it represents aspects of African culture that are often overlooked. Many people forget that African Americans aren’t rooted to their origins and mistaken their experiences for those of African people’s, so I’m glad you get insight on that lifestyle. :)
Hi linh, I hope you day has been good so far! I just finished reading "they both die at the end" and I am WRECKED it was so good!!! I wanted to thank you for making this video and recommending that book, you've rekindled my love for books and for reading. On to the next book (after I recover from the damage Adam silvera put on my heart UGH)
Call me by your name is literally my favourite book of all time and I’ve read shit tons of books. The movie is also amazing and I feel like movie adaptations of books don’t do the books justice so that’s great that it was actually amazing. The movie is one of my favourite movies too.
SO MANY GOOD BOOKS! I also love the way you edit, it's different to other book tube videos i've seen before, which is really cool. I've read They Both Die at the End and it's really good! A really quick read, cool concept, sad but also really lovely!
