+Mike Thepiper -- haha. Yeah, I get off on the physical paraphernalia of gaming. Dice, character sheets, maps, minis, pretty pictures in RPG books, etc. :) I can relate.
I love Chessex's dice sets and have three of them, two sets like the one you have, on Green /w White and one White /w Black, but the third are just d6s, and they look awesome; Space Dice Black, 12 Speckled d6 dice (I play a Sneak Attack Rogue in 5e, you see, and I can't roll multiple times, that does not work).
This is like the Best Unboxing Ever! My Favorite Brand of Dice "Chessex" Awesome Content by you Nate.....Any Chance of you doing a review on the upcoming D & D Book "Keys From the Golden Vault"? Take Care Nate....... 👽👻😉😉
Hi guys. I'm tempted to try out D&D. I think I'll try DMing, but I'm curious as to what you guys use for minions on a chessex grid map? And what you suggest me to get or make if I'm kind of in a hurry? Thanks
+Mathieu Poulin -- You can buy D&D pre-painted mini in booster packs (amzn.to/1XDchp1), but if you are wanting a whole bunch at a really low price per miniature, I'd recommend the Pathfinder Pawns - amzn.to/1SsZfsQ They look really nice and work quite well. Miniature market is another good source of pre-painted minis, or even ebay. Personally, I'm in to painting reaper bones miniatures, but that wouldn't be quick if you're in a hurry. I've also known people who just use dice or coins, or any game marker to mark locations of player characters and monsters and they leave it up to the imagination.
WASD20: "So you want to slay a dragon?" ME: "But your horse ain't fly? You gotta hit us up. And get a pimped out ride. You've got to pimp my riiiide. (damn riiight). You've got to pimp my riiiide."
This is bullshit! On Amazon, if your product cost more than 25 dollars, shipment is free. Well the only big bag of dice I can buy that is shipped to my country cost 24,99. And because of that, I have to pay for shipment. so it's 42,92. I'm 1 fucking penny away to have free shipment!
+WASD20 I picked up some minifigures for the starter set pre made characters. But it seems that I still have to pay shipping. I think it means that 1 product have to cost over 25, not the whole cart.
RexusprimeIX No, it's that not all items are eligible for free shipping once you hit that $25. It has to be $25 worth of stuff that is eligible for free shipping or you aint gettin that shit
Exactly. In this case it's a two week January term. For those two weeks students select two classes that run three hours each, one morning class and one afternoon class. They are usually classes that would not normally be offered, and are more for fun.
I love Chessex stuff but I wish that their d20 was a little bigger. Magic the Gathering has nice larger d20 that you use as a life counter. Since I play that too, I use those d20s. Just feels better.
You can learn a bit more about it here: www.wasd20.net/rpgclass/ And I did a vlog during the class too: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-wvvN6NVPpOk.html
