The first half sees us spend a cosy week food shopping, cooking and attempting to get the garden and kitchen cupboards ready for the winter months. The end of the weeks sees us visit a local garden centre close to Matt's parents home in Wales. It is a fantastic garden centre that has a cafe, Christmas store with decorations and table displays plus a halloween spooky hideaway and to top it all off a Maze made of beech hedging. You two make me giggle with your hello fresh double ups. BTW sell by dates on some dry goods especially salt and spices can be loosely followed. We have a challenge group on the oldest item in our cupboards. I think mine is a tin of treacle from 1995! I love Acers- dead easy to grow as well.

I'd love to see the perfume and Italian garden in the summer. I imaging all the little gardens would be significantly different in summer. It was great fun traveling the maze with you two. Thanks for the delight!

The vine over the arbor that had the large beans is wisteria. In the Southern US some of it is very invasive but it’s blooms are so beautiful and fragrant!

I love acer trees as they have such beautiful coloured leaves and my mom loved them and had a beautiful one in her garden - happy memories. I have a acer in my garden and it’s the lovely purple red colour leaves. Those were beautiful red acres in the garden centre. Matt I do the same to my cupboards occasionally and there are always a few things out of date - dropping the herb & spice tray is the sort of thing that would definitely happen to me😂😂 Elliot in the maze -😂😂 getting saucy!
