No idea what was wrong with this, but it was quite something! Was thankfully sounding healthy again the next time I caught it a few weeks later. And it gains bonus points for still being in the old X56 route branding!

Great coach to drive though, had it on its branded route, the X56, last month. Sounding much better now and freshly through it's MOT

Good to hear! I caught it a few weeks later and it was indeed sounding much better. How do you handle the lag in the gearbox, or do you just get used to it?

@ThingsWithEngines you get used to the lag I personally think it makes the coach smoother to drive than more modern b11 elites. It can get frustrating combined with the euro 6 ulez conversion on it as it does struggle for power now. Still a reliable coach that puts newer ones to shame considering its sat at over a million miles
