Glad I revisited this. I've got 5 of them, and with no instructions, I'm glad as always that you like sorting these electronic gizmos! Big help. They're going in my trailers, with a receiver, bound with the truck. 😊

I've got a few of them. Channel 3, if you fit it to Ch. 6 on your Receiver, you can toggle on and off your Headlights! All in all, I found this cheap and cheerful. A nice budget upgrade!

Teri, I have installed the HOP-UP lighting kit on my truck and I too am using the Spektrum DX8 gen2 Tx. The issuer I am having, is that the turn signals only operate when the “steering stick” is moved nearly 75% of its full left or right full throw. I also have the problem that the brake lights only come on when the “motion stick” is 75% in reverse and not when the stick is in the neutral position. I am using the Spektrum FIRMA 70A Brushed Smart ESC, and I am wondering if one of the several ESC programing options may be the issue. I appreciate any input you may have. Tom Garing
