The Pittsburgh Eye & Ear Foundation have a regenerative optic nerve program that is apparently pretty successful in restoring sight due to traumatic nerve damage. There are apparently a few facilities who now have this ability, also. Munchie should have somebody look into it.

We can talk all day about the poor choices individuals make but it's not going to do anything for the economic and social problems we all deal with everyday as a people. You can play the hand you've been dealt all you want, but it doesn't fix the fact that the deck is stacked against you. The legacy you claim in your name was dedicated to helping the people to not only make better life choices but also to address the systemic issues like racism and economic exploitation. I hope you come to understand this someday because your view is the view they want you to have. They want you to believe that the poor people deserve their poverty (due to poor life choices) and the rich people worked hard for their money. That way you never even think to challenge them.
