34 had one hell of a run coming out of 4 but i dont really think either one of them were really at fault..that was just one of those racing things ..the rear of the car that got into him kind swung out there when he was coming by
You mean cars are wrecking and tempers are flaring on a dirt track where two cars barely have enough room to run next to each other going down a straight??? SHOCKING!!!
It’s hard to run on any dirt track in the daytime. The sun and wind keep the moisture gone and this is what you get. Plus every 10 years or so they need to haul some of tracks top surface away and put new dirt down. City boys won’t understand those last four words, racing guys will.
I was fortunate enough to get to run 100 lap races on both Mile tracks in Illinois. Theyd always get super dusty and slick but the day race was always much worse than the night, especially if the track didn’t take rubber.
I would think after the death of other drivers who got out of their cars during a race, there should be rule changes accross the system, some exceptions for safety.pretty stupid to walk on the track even if your pissed off
no need as long as tony stewart isn't there, name one fucking death at any track in the country that happened when a driver ran over another one on the track, it doesn't happen.
It’s talked about at great lengths at drivers meetings before the season and during the season. The driver is in a $40,000 or more car, if he’s in a wreck he wants to see the damage himself. So he will know whether to park it or not. No, I think they are wrong for getting out of the car at anytime unless an official tells him to. But I’ve been going to dirt tracks for over 50 years and I’ve heard it and seen it several times a year.
I was actually there the night that happened the #1 who i know was coming out of turn 4 and the other driver came down the track and the #1 one was just there.
The 1 car got tight through center and decided to power push his junk through the corner, knowing full well someone is high (his head tilt through corner looking at the wall) later through the race he held the bottom just fine, he drove in too hard to 3 vs just set the car and make the corner. The 34 was driving really hot yes, he found something he liked up high early on, that was as good a time as any to get moving after washing out on exit of 2. Could he have avoided it? Sure, come to a dead stop and pray when the suspension unloads it doesn't shoot you straight left if the RF brake is shut off. Could the 1 car have avoided it? Sure, grab brake and make the LF pull itself around the corner if his RF is shut off. Does it matter? No this video is over 5 years old.
Track is to small and surface looks like field dirt.. red clay and 4/10 mile high banks is where its at. I would like to see these guys on the tracks down here in Georgia... they would shit their pants probably.
No need to get mad aye thats just racing pretty childish getting mad like that, shit happens all the time when your racing on dirt, its just part of the sport
Here’s a thought, if you build a late model and race it, at some point you’re gonna get bumped or spun out! If you’re gonna be a little wuss about it, then maybe you should stick to golf or something!
That track is super fast I've been to alot of tracks asphault and dirt,I come from a racing family My grandpa raced asphault and my cousins race now in mini stocks I can't afford it rite now but I got something in the pot brewing I swear it's almost like the sped up the video LoL I watch super late models everyday mostly in the southeast and that don't matter but this track is ungoddly fast LoL that was a good race And Rubbins Racing I didn't see anything that the 1 car did to the 34 car besides them hitting square on each other's quarter panels coming out of 4 so The 34 didn't have much of a case to be Mad with the 1 car or whatever the black cars number was
