I don’t normally read political or history books, but I’m trying to read more genres. Some of these sound like good reads! L I’ll wait for your review. I understand the problem of buying too many books!! I just had to stop! I’m trying to use my library card more!!

Hello Josh! Thank you for this book haul. I am very interested in the Third Reich book and what your thoughts are. When reading (listening to audiobooks) on this subject it brings my thoughts to now and quite honestly concerns me.

I'm double majoring in history and political science. So, that's why I'm here. 😄 All great books. Be cautious of The Lost Cause myth when buying civil war books. Omg, you haven't read books on Nazi Germany? 😱 Talk to me if you want recommendations, WWII is my favorite time period. The level of survival skills people had to enact is just stunning. Truman is most known for dropping the nuclear bombs on Japan.

I would love recommendations, but my preference is for books available on audio. A big reason why I haven't read them I am not that interested in wars in general. And I'm all too familiar with the lost cause myth. I'm from the south, so I know how the south tries to rewrite history.

It annoys the bejeezus out of me when a used book arrives and it's nowhere near the category of condition it was described as. Most sellers are good about making it right, but it's still super frustrating. Also when they send you a different edition!! Much of the time when I order a used book it's because I'm specifically after a certain edition of that book and when they send a different one I'm like srsly?? Ugh. But you are right - usually cheap.

I don't read too many books on politics but I am always interested in history! Stamped from the beginning is one I really want to read and have been hearing a lot about as well. I know Why I am no longer talking to white people about race is one that is very informative and a lot of people recommend as well. Ahaha I drop books all the time as well in videos :P I hope you will enjoy learning from these books. :)
