Thanks for this video, this helped me solidify my decision to take my car to a shop and let a professional handle this whole deal. My car will seriously lose power when AC is engaged, the cold is not all that cold and the AC condenser fins have started disintegrating (as in the pipes are there but the fins are flaking off as crumbly strips). I'm thinking it's time for at least a new condenser, and while we're at it, why not a new compressor, too, while the system is open.
So I put a new compressor, new low and high pressure lines, expansion valve, and a filter drier for the condenser and it still does not fix the issue I have. Although my Mazda blows cold air roughly around 65 degrees it doesn’t give that much pressure. It’s hard to explain it but I get no cold air nor my passengers get cold air. Do you think that the condenser is the big problem to my A/C?
