This is so random but Ive always been made fun of for how quite and ‘slow’ I am in the mornings by partners and family. Its just so profoundly comforting to see how common it is and watching it be accepted

Hitomi, could you make a video on how to establish affectionate friendships? I have friends and even though we're deeply connected there no physical affection and being that my love language is physical touch that makes me kinda sad. I wish I could express that without it being awkward. Did you ever have a convo with your friends about being physically close or it just happens that way?
me too! something that I've been trying to do more of is just simply ask for it, "can I have a hug?". And I'd love to eventually just ask my friends in conversation one day, "how do you feel about physical closeness like cuddling and hand holding? It makes me feel closer to people and makes me feel happy so it would mean a lot to me if we could do more things like that". What do you imagine yourself doing? :)
I struggle with physical connection but my best friend loves it. We recently had a conversation about it; they brought up how they like physical affection, we spoke about how it makes me feel, and both recognized that it would be nice to work bringing about more physical connection in ways that are comfortable for the both of us. I would say that if your connections with your friends are deep and honest, they will be happy to talk with you about this. Why not try bringing it up ❤

I am ALL for this. The first 2 hours of my day are for reading, drinking tea, puttering around and just being and collecting myself before I get out into the world. No talking, no emails, no phone calls before 10 unless it is an emergency. Life is short, enjoy as much of it as you can.
Your videos prove to me that we are all going through similar experiences as a collective group of human beings. When ever you bring something up I find that I am always going through a similar situation and it amazes me how in sync we can all be without knowing each other. You are able to communicate to the collective what lessons you are learning. We are able to learn from you what our lessons are and that’s why we are drawn to you
Your friendship is so lovely. My best friend and I cuddle .. I love her braiding my hair.. walks.. I do her make up.. same stuff we did at 10 years old .. to our 30s now.

wowow! I'm definitely the kind of person who needs silence in the morning. When I was living at home my dad would constantly be playing music on speaker at 4-5am and it really agitated me. I agree that being able to be silent with someone without it being awkward or uncomfortable is a form of intimacy. I'd love to see more content about how you formed such intimate friendships!
