Watched this entire episode ! Mr Ngcobo is so ellequent in his delivery and I love how David steered the conversation towards what the average man really wants to know. Brilliant interview ! Thanks Bra Dave !
Yoh me too!!! so knowledgable, eloquent, articulate and every other fancy English word that says "he made me want to listen" 😛. Thank you for these "nerdy" interviews Mashabela, you are right when you say we learn things on the surface without digging deeper. THIS is EDUCATION.
this guy he is a very eloquent speaker. I like King David but this time I feel he interrupted this guy too much. David you do very well with interviewing legends but this guy just needed to flow and really enlighten us. I love this episode, great job Mdava for brining Mr. Ngcobo .
This is truly one of the best interviews I've watched in a while. What a breath of fresh air Mr Ngcobo brings to this conversation, the level of understanding and the depth he presented to this topic and the ease in his delivery is truly a rare gift. This is my first time on this platform (podcast) but I'm definitely a fan now, I can't wait to see more of your masterful work King David... 🔥🔥🔥
nah man there's something about this podcast i dont know whether is the sound effect or what...it"s so relaxing and chilled just two people having fruitfull conversation and we just happened to be listening...i love it, God save the king!!!!
Duma Ngcobo is articulately phenomenal, thoughts expressed with such clarity of speech and coherency. This is such an informative interview and as usual King David kept the conversation with excellence. Great one, I enjoyed this.
😆 I watch for that 29 min simply because the interviews are long, which is really good, I always come back later, the “later” is actually same day. I really like Mashabela’s podcast, chilled and just talking, no cussing and stuff, just two grownups talking about life, big up!!!
Bra Dave this is valuable information. I was hijacked and kidnapped last year, staying calm and cooperative got me out of the situation. Tracker recovered my car within minutes of activation
One of the most informative and interesting episodes. I worked under him at CellC, he is humble and he respects everyone. He really motivated me because we weren't treated well before he came .
I moved from not wanting to see this interview at all to being hooked from the first minute. The brother is good in his craft. I can listen to him all day long.
South Africa is the pits. The hair on the back of my neck just stood as I was listening. Anxiety must be so high amongst citizens. I could never live a life where I’m constantly on edge. It would be quite interesting to see the anxiety stats of RSA. This is no way to live! How can you buy a car knowing that you may lose your life the next day bcos of it! What a cess pit! What went wrong in South Africa. The level of violent crime is astonishing. Wow! I don’t believe that it’s all about lack of skill. It’s greed, lack of positive role models and community values. Some of these criminals grew up around men who were praised in the neighbourhoods for their criminal ways. They were revered, given so much respect and carried so much power. So these up coming young ones see that and want it. Telenovas like Gomora have storylines and characters that glamorise crime. Is South Africa the Titanic of the 21st century? Wow!😢😢😢😢
I LOVE this podcast @David please don't reduce the interview / conversation time because the average person watches half the show 😄, we love these lengthy convos !
This is a great interview but I don’t think they will ever be ahead than criminals as they are the same people that install the devices form the OEM's are the criminals or give information to criminals.
I'm doing my PostGrad in Data Analytics, this is very inspiring what these companies do in data driven decisions 👏 🎉 plus this guy is corporate articulated 🎓👏
"People are incredibly relaxed" hit the hardest for me. Yho hayi, my fellow South Africans this is true. We are way too relaxed. Especially us men. The amount of times I see guys watching Tik Toks in public instead of being situationally aware is scary. Your kids think you will protect them in times of danger. Kodwa how can you do that while obsessing with a tool that's supposed to in your pocket?
It is such a pleasure to be listening to a professional, properly researched and articulate presentation eloquently presented. This is one of the best presented doccies on RU-vid. Proudly 🇿🇦
Come guys, let's apply maths literacy: If a car is stolen every 42 seconds in SA... There are 3600 secs in 1 hour (60 × 60). If 1 vehicle is stolen every 42 seconds, that's > 80 vehicles stolen per hour; (85.7 if one calculates it). 2057 per day.. 14,339 / week. 57,356 / month.. Let's learn to check if numbers presented to us are accurate.. Average monthly new car sales total less than that. @King David pls revise figures. Thanks for a very interesting interview.
My friend and I were hijacked and kidnapped and what made us some out alive was that we remained calm and cooperative towards whatever they wanted. Very traumatic afterwards and we still in the healing process. This happened a week ago. We lost everything! Basically starting from zero 😮😢
I'm sorry to read this, I hope you guys heal quicker❤❤❤. Mind sharing how this hijacking happened? Maybe you might help someone prevent one if possible.
I was also cooperating but they beat me and by God's grace I started fighting not because I wanted to win but I wanted them to shoot me and they ran away.
Very well articulated, Ubab Ncgobo is such a storyteller. Absolutely loved every bit of it. Thank you King Dave, I now know a little bit more than I did before.
Very exciting and insightful episode by the way I worked with Mr Ngcobo in one of the FSP's he worked for. I used to enjoy our conversation about cars, soccer and general knowledge. Very knowledgeable guy, passionate about life. Thanks Bro David.
Oh wow the same thing happened to me when I got hijacked, I would get calls from people saying they recovered my car and they need R5000 to give it back and I would find it at some car wash, fortunetly the officer who took my statement told me this is likely to happen, so I told them the matter is with the police and my insurer and they should stop contacting me
3hr interviews feel like 29mins because they are intresting from beginning to end. Shoutout to Duma, im not into cars but i thoroughly enjoyed this and as someone in the tech space moreso the data analysis. We are in the golden age of data where everything need to be Tracked.
Geez i'm so proud of Duma, how he understands his business. Only If we had so much Duma's in government this country would be performing on it's pick. Big ups
He is very right about the timing of theft! My polo was once stolen at my flat in the Vaal and I had an early warning system, so I knew immediately as the tracker company called me, it was recovered in Soweto in about 40 minutes.
This is the state of South Africa under an ANC government. When we grew up in the 70's, 80's and 90's, this was not how life was. Cry our beloved country, it is being destroyed right under our noses by inept and incompetence.
@Bee-dp3st I doubt this person is referring to what you are implying. I am a black woman, who lives in the township in a small city but even I can attest to how unsafe and paranoid many of us have become because the reality is we are JUST NOT SAFE.
I thoroughly enjoyed the insightful interview with @David and The CEO. Thank you for keeping us well informed. @CEO, your knowledge about the tracking business was truly impressive. I believe it would be beneficial for tracking companies and insurance companies to collaborate with e-toll technology to aid in recovering stolen cars. In cases where signal jamming devices are used, the vehicle may still pass through an e-toll, allowing the number plate to be flagged and alerting all patrol units in the vicinity for a faster recovery process.
I watched the entire episode, and I enjoy David's style of conducting his interviews, we get to have the full story with no unnecessary interruptions. Mr Ngcobo was great, as much as he says he's not a marketer, but I was definitely sold because his delivery was honest, clear unbiased and for this, I am signing up with Tracker. At least now I'll choose the right one. I would love for him to activate a conversation with the automotive industry to come up with a robust tracking system that will be built in either in machanics or the paint as David suggested
I watched the 2 hours at a go, because it was that engaging from start to finish no let up! This was so good that I will watch it again and Mr Duma Ngcobo COO, who speaks better than any PR professional I have ever heard, I will seek him here on You-Tube just to listen to him, I like to hear him to talk.
King David thank you for always inviting incredible guests .l learn a lot from all of them even if takes hours i finish the episodes, also Ntate Mashabela your skill of taking to Guests is on another level.Well done❤❤👏👏💐🙏🙏
One of the most informative, full of life talks sooo far. Bra D, thanks... to your guest Bra D. hope to see you soon, by location. Thank you my brothers
Mr. Ngcobo is ABSOLUTELY correct with his facts....We went to a school event on a Saturday morning...We parked, went in...I went back after +- 30min....The Toyota Etios was gone....stolen....gone, gone.....
I saw this vid on TikTok and it led me here no matter how long it is I was hooked on the entire video, it is so informative. I work by the CBD Jozi and this video really taught me a lot,
Mr. Duma Ngcobo is one of the best in the business... He is very much correct when he says the space is white-dominated and the company he is currently working for is such an example. I hope that he will lead the movement for equality and inclusion of more tough black people in his company and change the script a bit. There are a lot of young black youth who look up to him in that yellow company...
