Considering that Eartha Kitt had to follow Julie Newmar and Lee Meriwether, I thought she done a wonderful job as Catwoman and made it her own. Her portrayal was the more wicked and fiendish of the three especially with that evil smile plus she looked absolutely incredible in the black catsuit. She was the most underrated of all of the Catwomen.
I love how the Adam West Batman series was ahead of it's time. A black actress not only playing a main role, but a major villain in a superhero series. Working alongside other villains as equals, and even has henchmen who are white men. That's pretty progressive for a series from the 60's.
Of course we didn't have the internet back then, but for the longest time fans would only ever ask the question, "who was your favorite Catwoman?" It didn't matter which someone choose, they were all great. Fandom now is in a really bad place.
Outstanding Eartha Mae Kitt, she were the BEST Catwoman ever and she made the character her own in her own way as other actress after her tried to mimic. A true treasure indeed and excellent with her voiceovers in animation too ... 💯😎🌟
Born in '58, this particular Cat Woman had me by the balls from day one. Marcia Brady and her kid sisters in their minis and Morticia and Wednesday Addams came later. As if! Suggestive teasing and feminine softness still the ultimate aphrodisiac. Heaven is in a woman's willing attention and embrace .
