I have to admit that as someone who has only found the channel in the last few months, I did wonder why LITA hadn't been done, with it being so popular. Watching this video though, I now know that obviously it was tried, and dropped for some reason.....which gives me the answer to that question! As someone relatively new, I have thought about asking for series, but never wanted to bring up shows that might not suit. I have an idea, which may or may not work, but I thought I would throw it out there anyway. Maybe it would work to have a list (maybe on patreon) of all those shows which have been tried and dropped, that way people can look and see if any series they wish to ask about has already been tried! As I say, i'm quite new so this might have already been tried and been found effective........but I thought I would mention it. As for the subathon.........I wish you good luck with it, and hope you reach all the goals you aim for!!

love in the air, no tharntype. i cant see you guys enjoying tharntype in the long run but love in the air does get better. i know the scenes with payu being touchy with rain without consent were very uncomfortable, but it doesn’t last past like the 2nd episode...

If you react to TharnType you will need to react to season 2. The whole point in TharnType is growth. Growth in self, relationships, etc. In Season 2, it comes full circle to a loving couple. Also, you watched Don't Say No and that is from the same universe.

I feel you linger in the air was really good. I liked the storyline and the acting. As for Love in the air, I preferred the storyline of the second couple. I didn’t care for the first couple and ended up skipping through some of their scenes. I also didn’t like Tharntype, but If you have to watch it, I’ll rewatch with you. There should be a drinking game to go alone with it to make it tolerable.

Love in the Air is great and I would love to see you react to it, and I may be one of the few that love TharnType. I know things are questionable at times but I guess I see it from the past trauma of the two main characters, so I see why they made some of the choices they did. I do love how much they love each other in the end and it is good.

I'm late with the update. I'm 100% behind you reacting to I Feel You Linger In The Air. It's been a minute since I watched, so all the twists and turns aren't going to be new for me, but I kinda can't wait to see your reaction to it. I freey admit, I like LITA, Phayu and Rain's story. The 2nd story, I admit was probably too much trauma for me. So if you were to react to LITA, I'd def be very interested to see how you like it. I big one though is Laws Of Attraction, one of my fav BLs last year

Looking forward to your reactions this month! I'll also be watching the subathon and contributing as I did last time, but, honestly, I'd rather see you guys react to things you enjoy. Personally, I loved LITA, but I get that not all people understand the mutual kink that's being explored there... and all the explanations in the world won't make them enjoy it. I skipped that part of the previous subathon because I got tired of the negativity for something I truly enjoyed for a number of reasons. I'll look forward to the other reactions though.

@@TopherReacts Perfectly understandable. But once the negativity train in the comments leaves the station, there's no stopping it... which is why I stepped away during that part of the last stream. I didn't enjoy TharnType, so I'll probably skip that as well if it comes up during the stream for similar reasons. Not tryin' to yuk anyone's yum.

Love in the air is definitely deserving of another chance because the first episode didn't really justify how the whole show was going to go. The rest of the show is literally amazing and not really toxic at alll.

Ahem, Tharntype is probably not the best series for someone who enjoys watching healthier relationships built on trust, but if you truly do want to react to it, I'll probably tune in just to see what Topher's Lectures holds in store. Tharntype is a very... Questionable series, which I started at one point, stopped for a year, then finished and enjoyed the second season more so than the first. I tried to watch Love in the Air but evebtually lost interest lol. Wish you luck Topher ❤😂

LITA really isnt that bad. The second couple has some triggering content due to Sky’s past but it really isn’t dwelled on that much and it’s more about romance. Is it the best bl series ever? Of course not, but there aren’t that many great bl series anyways lol (imo). The best thing about LITA was the chemistry between the two couples so I think it’s worth the watch just for that.

@@lavender-z8q I think you would be right for tharn type but i don't agree with love in the air. It is one of the best Bls i have seen. The production is low on some parts and a triggerwarning for the last episodes but the story is good in my eyes.

You cannot judge Love in the Air based on 1 episode or anything really. It is not toxic and for those who think otherwise is completely wrong in their relationships and their idea of a relationship. Both couples and individuals in each couple know what they are doing and are strong enough in themselves to say otherwise ( or Stop/Enough). There is a lot of flirting from both sides. Also, the author writes her characters with trauma, BDSM lifestyles (or position in the relationship), and/or sometimes little personalities [see TharnType 2] (or other types of personalities). FYI, Daddy type = Payu and Little Boy (Brat) = Rain.

As someone who does like LITA, yes he absolutely CAN judge based on the first episode. First impressions are important. Hell, even when I watched I had to skip most of episode 1 because I was uncomfortable. Just because you like the series doesn’t mean it isn’t toxic. I like the series too, but I can admit it is toxic at times, especially the beginning.

I am also wondering where are all the subathons will be taking place on twitch like if it will be happening on just one twitch channel or multiple channels. Idk whats with the hate for TharnType. Id say that just give it a go. Theyre still my favourite series to this day and it has been years since the first ss started. Its really one of the series if not the first series that open a conversation for the community amongst the thai general public. And tharntype's novel never really advertised as light fluffy genre. It was listed as dark and angsty. It just happened that the casts chemistries and the direction flowed really well hence the result. And ofc a few changes was made here and there by the author and director during the script writing to make it a little lighter for the viewers under 16 since they aired them on TV. But yeah totally would really recommend the story. 10:48

Because Tharn Type and LITA are from the same writer and people say her writing is problematic. I don't see anythink problematic in it. I love that it shows something bad as bad but for the last episodes for some people i would go with triggerwarning.

Honestly Love in the air is one of my favourites especially because of how it manages to show “that” problem (I don’t wanna give spoilers just in case). I did loved TharnType although I knew it was all so toxic, now I’m over it. But I really cannot see any similarities between the two. If he’s gonna react to one of those I vote for LITA. I’ve been wondering when he would react to it and now I understand.😅

So in Lita Boss is seen as manipulative and controlling and P’Pai is also overstepping boundaries not taking no for an answer nearly stalkerish pushing where its clearly not wanted … yeah I mean they kinda turn it around in the end but people who can’t separate fiction from reality take the story too serious - cause it’s clearly not trying to portray a healthy real relationship

mame have heavy themes but i wouldn't say all are shown in a problematic way. Tharn and Thyp is problematic and their isn't any way to sugarcoat it. In Love in the air we have soft manipulation but the character have enough time to decide themself. I would only give a trigger warning for the last episodes but that is shown as something bad. So not problematic for me. It is as heavy as Teams remembering the death of his cousin. I love heavy themes when it is shown as something we can learn from. That is the reason why i like love in the air so much.

I watched Tharntype while it was airing and I was very young at that time. But now I understand how problematic it was. Lita too I couldn't get pass ep2. It will be a journey to watch these two series. Also hope you react to only boo series. Its really a cute fluffy series like my school president with good writing and acting.😊

As much as tharntypw is such a crucial part in my and many others bl history- do not watch that shit. PLEASE. Oh my god it’s so…it’s so…ugh…especially with how you felt towards some of the scenes in Tonhon Chonlatee, I can’t see you enjoying it. However love is in the air quickly became one of my favorites, especially when it starts to focus on the secondary couple. I can see you really enjoying it in later episodes‼️

Uhhh Idk about tharntype😖. I think that one might traumatize you with all the toxicness topher… Don’t get me wrong, the male leads have a lot of chemistry, but it’s not an easy watch. Love in the air in slightly better, but 🤷‍♀️

Don't get the hate towards TharnType. Is it toxic? Most of the time but both of them grow during their relationship to the better. People who say it's toxic go and praise KinnPorsche and the VegasPete storyline. TharnType was a game changer in the BL world. It's way better than LITA who lacks a good storyline and wouldn't be that famous without their spicy scenes. You should give TharnType a try. It shows also that not every relationship are about ponies and rainbows.

I understand what you are saying. Sure the last episodes are heavy to act but at least the first half of the drama isn't heavy at all. And i am more triggert from Between us. But that is me. I also liked dramas that was worst than LITA because for me i only need a psychologie grows or the bad people get what they deserve to be happy.

I mean, it's by the same person so... TharnType is definitely more of a 'product of it's time' type of drama so you need to know what you are getting into. Most people do like Love in The Air better if they aren't going into it wanting to hate it lol
