Great interview, Pete! I loved what Todd said about continuously playing the newer songs at gigs because I totally agree. You can't play a few new songs from the most recent album on one tour and then never play them again. Those songs need time to grow with the audience so that they'll eventually become concert staples!

Thank you guys so much for resurrecting Queensryche! I can't tell you how dissappointing the albums that followed Promised Land all the way to Dedicated To Chaos were for me. As an original Rycher whose mind was blown when Queen Of The Ryche premiered on HeadBanger's Ball, I can assure you that these last four albums have been true Queensryche masterpieces! I am hoping you guys continue to work hard and move forward making new music and touring!

Got to work w/ Ryche in Phx back in 01. Michael was the coolest most down to earth "rockstar" I had met. I worked with a lot of them and he was so cool. His Les Paul got stolen after the show that night, I was able to get it back for him, i chased down the guy that took it in the parking lot. Michael gave me autographed shirts/swag as a thank you.

I like it that the band cares about the fan's experience. It's not about their egos. The fact this band has been around as long as they have and have revived their band, the fan base and remain relevant after 40 years! Wow!

Todd is a fuckin fantastic singer. New album rules!

I’ve been listening to Digital Noise Alliance for the last few weeks, its been in constant rotation. It’s a terrific return to form for Queensryche. These last two releases Todd LaTorre has been involved with, this album and also his own solo album Rejoice in the Suffering, have just been top notch work.

Just love Petes' interview style. It's more like a catch up with some mates you've known for years. QR seroiusly class act in my opinion.

in extremis and behind the walls are For Ever in my repertoire now, and I will tell you that I waited to hear it live in Snohomish, WA when I attended the concert a few months ago and I was blown away. I enjoyed those songs just as much as coming there to hear the classics. Todd melted my face off and props to Casey too

I just saw them in KC two nights ago. AMAZING SHOW by all three bands. I’ve been going back and exploring Queensryche songs that I missed in preparation. I’ve been absolutely obsessed with Roads to Madness, and I was absolutely blown away when they closed with it. I was sure they weren’t going to play it after hearing three other songs from The Warning. Great Set 👍🏻. Thanks Pete for convincing me to listen past Operation Mindcrime and the hits

DNA is a fantastic album and the last 3 are great as well. Seen QR many times with Todd and they sound as good as ever. Really hope they play a lot of new stuff on their upcoming headlining tour.

Enjoyed listening and watching this interview Pete. So love the band then and now. I always am one that gives a band that has been around a chance when they change lineups and to stay true to the originality of the sound with old and new songs and love the last four albums as much as the old. Now bands as they can become older may change songs to suite their aging times that they can't do like they use to. Queensryche for them they knew they can still keep their sound fresh like it was yesterday and be able to do it today. Queensryche will always be a top notch band that I so love. Would like to see them some day. Hope that I could Thanks Pete and to Todd and Michael for the interview.👍 🤟

Today I purchased Digital Noise Alliance purely on Pete's praise of this album as his album of 2022. Up until now I have barely noticed Queensryche but Pete really sold the album to me with his positivity. In that last 5 years due to Pete's reviews I have purchased music by bands and artists that would have escaped my attention. Two weeks ago I wouldn't have thought I'd be listening to Queensryche so thanks Pete my musical listening experience had been further enhanced. I also recently purchased Marcus King due to Pete's favourable ( I'm a Kiwi hence the spelling of favourable with a 'u') review of 'Young Blood' a few weeks back.

This is the best metal album from 2022 in my opinion, I've been listening to Queensryche since 1983 until today, and I do agree that these albums with Todd La Torre on vocals are up there right after the Promised land album, the new album DNA is great, I cannot stop listening to it in my car everyday when I go to work and back is just that good of an album.

Awesome interview. I used to listen to the EP on my way to my senior year in high school. I’ve seen the band numerous times in numerous states. I drifted as a fan and because of the Judas Priest tour, was able to see y’all 3 times last year. Man. I’m all in and I’m always pitching the band. I’m so glad y’all didn’t throw in the towel rather, got down to business and kept the metal alive! See y’all in March in Dallas! My 4th time in 12 months 🤘🤘🤘🤘

Todd and the current line up are awesome - His vocals are incredible 👏I've seen them with the old and new multiple times each. These guys are amazing live these days. Definitely worth checking out the new albums and seeing them live if they come to your town! Really solid blend of the old nostalgia and fresh new sounds🤘

I enjoy hearing from the band - I have never been a fan .... but I like hearing what they have to say. It's interesting.

Pete, I liked the way you handled that at 4:10 where you didn't offend them, but said what we all think (those albums after Promised Land were not good). I agree with you that the ones with Todd are a return to form. They seem like cool guys, too.

I saw them live back in December and they were great. Got a signed drumhead and a signed bag of picks. Digital Noise Alliance is pretty good. I have the boxset. In Extremis, Sicdeth, Behind The Walls, Forest, and Tormentum are my favorites.

I want to tell Todd that I am shelving my bias not that I had a strong one but he keeps me on the edge of my feet and has finally convinced me that his contributions are solid and I want him to know that I will listen to all of the new stuff to find my new Queensryche hit !! Great interview. DNA is an amazing album along with all the Todd albums. Hopefully people realize that Queensryche wouldn’t still be here without Todd. He was and still is the perfect replacement for Geoff and the people that still won’t accept him need to listen to the last few Ryche albums like Dedicated to Chaos that were not great and then listen to the 4 records with Todd and see that he has revitalized the band. In addition check out Todd’s solo album (Rejoice In The Suffering) as it is an amazing album too.

At 4:27 he says it all… I’ve not always been a fan, didn’t like a lot of the 90’s Tate era material and like Tate a great deal but this lineup are putting out great records, what the band was originally about and it sound fantastic in 2023 and I wish these guys the best and continued success!

New album is very good. Long time fan and admittedly was apprehensive when Geoff left but if you haven't given this new lineup a chance, you should. Each album has been better than the previous one during this past decade.

DNA is a wonderful album. I'd love to get some in-depth commentary from them one of these days about songs like Eye9 and Nocturnal Light - the lyrics are really intriguing and I'd like to get more insight into the deeper meanings of those cuts.
