Lead singer Travis Cormier joined Raiding the Rock Vault in 2023 and performs with the hit Las Vegas show at the Hard Rock Cafe Las Vegas Strip!
From Moncton (NB), Travis Cormier has been playing guitar since he was 9 years old. Influenced early on by pop-rock and country music, his destiny was carved out at birth when his mother named him after country singer Travis Tritt. Inspired by his favorite rock bands Guns N’ Roses and Mötley Crüe who got their start in Los Angeles, Travis packed his bags at 17 to complete his studies at the Musicians Institute in Hollywood. He regularly performed at the renowned Roxy and Whiskey A Go-Go to feed his burning desire of becoming a world class musician.
Back to Canada in 2016, the #TravisMania erupted when he became a finalist on the popular Quebec version of The Voice. His rendition of «Dream On» from his idol Steven Tyler set the stage for international delirium on social media and was viewed over 7 million times on RU-vid in the first week alone, before the network blocked it on Copyright ground. Shortly after, impressed by his incredible talent, the Aerosmith frontman invited him to perform his successful «I Don’t Want To Miss A Thing» with him at a Niagara Falls concert and the same year, Vince Neil (Mötley Crüe) had Travis as a special guest at a festival in Rimouski.
He released his first album Dollars & Hearts in 2018. Produced by Bob Rock (Metallica, Mötley Crüe, Bon Jovi) and recorded at the Warehouse Studio in Vancouver, the album reached over 400 000 streams on Spotify and includes tracks co-written with Richie Sambora. A country version of his first single was also made available and has been added to important playlists such as New Music Nashville, Down Home Country et New Country Friday. In 2018, Travis had another career milestone when he opened for Bon Jovi at a sold out Bell Centre in Montreal.
In November 2021, Travis is back with "Where's Time Gone" a 5-song mini-album that marks this moment in time, this period of hiatus that allowed him to develop as a songwriter.
"I am very proud and happy to present « Where’s Time Gone ». I wanted to create songs that I would love to play live, by capturing the raw energy, and sound of the band. I want people to feel the energy and have the impression that they’re there with us. I think this EP is a great preview of what to expect for upcoming shows, and for what's to come next."
