It's by far, the best show on the strip. Every time I (or we) are in Vegas, Raiding The Rock Vault is on the "to do" list. Blas is not only a great drummer, but a nice guy as well. Money well spent. That's for sure!
Fabulous. Strange that Howard is acknowledged by the Rock'n'Roll HoF, but not the band that he's been with for years, Bad Company. OK, so he wasn't an original member, but they were the pioneers of a type of blues/rock - rock/blues that was copied by so many bands, especially in the USA.
I met Todd in Vegas, at Raiding the Rock Vault. I initially went there to meet Blas Elias. Todd commented on the t-shirt I was wearing. I should have struck up a conversation with him. He really seems like a good guy. I think we're heading back for the new year. I won't make that mistake again :) The best show in Vegas! By far!!
PRS general feels good regardless of the guitar I've picked up. Most Fender strats are oain in the ass. Gibson has some good feeling guitars byt not ad consistent as PRS.
This guy deserves to be seen playing the solo in the music video. I mean Nancy appears to be playing it in the video which I understand because of the female power thing but still, they needed to show him specifically playing the main part because that's honest.
I saw that 1990 tour on back to back nights. Kiss was my absolute favorite at the time and Slaughter was in my top 3 at the time, it was amazing. I think I saw Slaughter again open for Poison but I'm not 100% sure.
I still have lust in my heart for PS #3833. I played it when it was new in Brent’s shop. MA Pete bought it while I was flying home. I think you got it from him? Anyway, DIBS!
Ann and Nancy Wilson garner infinite deserv-ed praise - amen. This man furnished them with several of the deftest rock ballad guitar solo fills and contributions of all time. Summa Cum Laude, all 3
I remember one night he offered me a box of his finger nail clippings at the Salt Lake Hilton. I declined... I was friends with Elvis and I would decline his as well.
Whose basement is this? What a tragedy to put such an amazing show with so many great performers on such a small stage. This show was fantastic at the Westgate and Tropicana.
We are in a much better location now - that spot at the Rio was for a time when we reopened after COVID. We are much much happier at Hard Rock Cafe Las Vegas Strip - a great live venue.
