Such a bittersweet ending. Eren’s response to Mikasa. The ending song from season 1 ties with this one so well.

The recent outro is deffinetly my favorite outro. The lines is also from the perspective of what Eren is saying, talking about freedom while speaking to mikasa. As a fun fact Eren is answering the questions from mikasa song(the first outro in season 1). Example from mikasa song ”why are we alive and living in this cruel world?” Eren song responds as ”This world is cruel but i still love you” Mikasa song second question ”Just what are we protecting?” Eren responds ”Even if i sacrifice everything i will stil protect you”

The fact that he knows he won't live to see their friends live happy but still keeps going with what he thinks is right to leave a better world for them. 😭💔💔💔💔

I love how easily this show can move you to tears, makes me feel a lot better seeing reactors like you who aren't afraid to be loud or cry (shows that your reactions are more authentic than a lot of the others out there too). Since I was a wee old child I was condemned for crying at every little thing and at shows and movies, but there's no shame in it, I'm still the same as an adult and seeing these reactions always makes me feel better!

Reading the manga makes this ending 20 times more painful 😭🥺

God I tear up every time I hear this song with the visuals. Nothing hits me harder than seeing Eren as a kid carefree and happy.

The thing about this ending it will hit harder as you go and the more you see more of Eren/Mikasa as well. I imagine once you watch the finale of this part you will never be able to stop tearing up to it.

Knowing what we know where the anime is now (or especially if one has read the manga) this hits all the harder.

Season 4 part 2's op and ed are about Eren's pov and his inner conflicts. The lyrics in A Child Of Evil hits hard if you really think about the story through Eren's perspective. 1) His struggle with his destiny. Starting the rumbling and murdering millions 2) His deep desire to save his friends, love ones and homeland 3) Eren slowly accepting his fate of being a child of evil from the start due to him being destined to do an evil act in the future 4) He truly believes in what he's doing is the right thing in order to save his friends and homeland 5) The world is cruel but he still loves his friends. Even if his friends oppose of his genocide, he still loves and cares for from. 6) His fight for freedom which can be about his freedom of being an Eldian and his freedom from his destiny/fate of starting the rumbling

When you know the full story then this song hit you 10000x stronger

One thing I love about the landscape shots(of areas we should know) is what's missing in them. Like the shot at 1:40, which I believe is the tower that Historia's small group was held up in when Ymir revealed herself. There's something that's different(and it's not the overgrowth of life retaking the land.)

It’s so beautiful and sad… why I love attack on Titan because it’s like a fairytale. It had to be my favorite anime and show in the world and I’m not kidding. Eren and Mikasa belong together and even sense they didn’t end up together in the end, they will in the after life and I love the main trio EMA 🧣🦋🕊
