Jackson Browne is one of the best lyrists of all time.

Jackson Browne walks the walk in regards to human rights, ecology etc. He was instrumental in the No Nukes concert many years ago. It looks like he is working with local musicians. JB is a great songwriter and performer. He always has great musicians in his band. Never seen this performance before and it's outstanding.

Some Jackson fans turned away from his music when he started writing songs about what was happening in the world. I embraced these songs. An artist who is willing to lose some followers because of the truth he is singing about gets a gold star in my book. I am so glad that other artists, like Jackson, are willing to sing the truth, to do what they can to bring awareness to problems that need addressing, rather than sitting on their laurels and ignoring the plight of our brothers and sisters. Thanks for a great reaction to one of my most favorite songs!

“desde Chile…un abrazo a la Esperanza.” “(all the way) from Chile…an embrace/hug to HOPE/the HOPEFUL.” jackson brown holds the soul and peace of the gaviota california pacific coast.🩵🪶🕊️🐬🐬🐬 - ~ home of indigenous Chumash peoples.

It reminds me of a Canadian artist Bruce Cockburn's "If I Had A Rocket Launcher." You should watch the Austin City Limits version, smooth, subtle, but fantastic music and the angst of constant war.

I loved Jackson Browne. I bought his albums in the mid 70's.

You always ask why people watch your reaction videos of artists/songs that you have never heard. I can't really explain it, except to say that I simply enjoy seeing people enjoy the same music that has had a profound impact on me. One of the things that always draws me to a song is good lyrics. Jackson Browne is definitely a master (if you haven't already, check out The Pretender). One suggestion to improve your videos - MORE ALI!!!

I've been waiting for someone to react to this one - a powerful song. Somehow it always seems to be apropos, decade after decade. The location of the wars change, but, sadly, the spirit of this song stays relevant. He's such a stellar songwriter. Really hope you continue exploring his music.

Jackson Browne is my absolute favorite musician of all time. His first record came out when I was 3 or 4 and I was hooked ever since. This album came out when I was in high school and we all knew Reagan was the beginning of the end of democracy in our country. The flute is on the album version too, same with the guitar. Look up the fairness doctrine that Reagan eliminated. This was the beginning of news shifting to propaganda like with Fox News not even being a registered news company (they are registered as an entertainment company, so they aren’t required to tell the truth.) There were so many terrible policies and plans put in place then that have helped funnel wealth upwards and taken away rights. Go listen to the album version and you’ll love it too.

*EDIT: Also, I always say that with a nylon-string guitar there are only two options - Go HAAM with it, or leave it where it is and keep moving hahahaha* You'll be happy to know Sebs that the studio version actually features those instruments too! :)

Jackson Browne speaks to and for the soul. I love his music. His lyrics are amazingly complex and yet simple. When I delved into Taylor Swift and learned her writing this summer, for me I paid her the ultimate compliment because I said she is at the level of Jackson Browne and Paul Simon in her lyrics. For calling out of political: I suggest listening to Where Were You, it's about Katrina: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-SO_5c3BRFXE.htmlsi=4IYVsF470gRhkXLk Or Drums Of War: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-53U-9uxfXY0.htmlsi=euCa8HJuLZvIkCP1 Something more positive about the love of a woman, Stunning Mystery Companion: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-8-werjFZumQ.htmlsi=CTnJIH7cItf5Iirb Just listen to ALL his music cuz That Girl Could Sing

Jackson let SRV use his studio for free when he was looking to record his first record. JB just told him if he could get to California and he'd be able to use the studio no charge. JB is really an awesome guy

Just to show how well Jackson and his friends are aging, this is a link to a recent performance of "Doctor my Eyes". Recorded over 50 years ago, at the time of the original, Russ Kunkel played drums and Leland Sklar played bass. They were all in their 20s ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-VQPD17v6eLU.htmlsi=HmtykRxSSjw8sYME This was recorded with Playing for Change. "Lives in the balance" is such a powerful song and still relevant. Rock on Jackson!! And you keep rocking too!💖💖✌✌🌹🌹

I clicked bc I saw Jackson Brown back in the late 70's and the concert was memorizing - and bc I didn't know you are from Chile - and I've been there too. Back mid 70's. The quena flute is a haunting sound. So reminisce of the Andes.

SEBS: it’s one country away but you GOTTA react to the wildest crowds in the world in Argentina- AC/DC at River Plate Stadium. “Thunderstruck”- it’s the craziest thing you’ll ever see! They even sing the instrumentals!

Hi seps, I'm a new subscriber and I'm enjoying the reactions. I was wondering if you could react to. Gary Moore, the song is called The missiah Will come again. Live at the montreux jazz festival 1990. This is the best live version. Hope you don't miss out on another master of the guitar. Health and happiness to you and your family. Thanks for taking the time to read this. John.
