Personally I have been banging the drum for people in the west to waken up and look at how the American political system is totally rigged in favor of promoting only politicians who support the Israel agenda, whilst attacking viciously any politician who refuses to abide by it. This was my experience too when I went to visit a friend in Turkey. She introduced me to her boyfriend and his buddy - both Muslims. They were so generous and hospitable. This was also my experience in Bosnia when visiting the Muslim Quarter in Mostar.

You'll be pretty suprised when you read the Quran. I recommend you to have 2 copies. One is the translation by Abdel Haleem because it's translation is easy to understand. And the other one is called "the study quran" by Seyyed Hussain Nasr. This one is filled with commentary, giving historical backgrounds of events happened when the verses were revealed, and some other explanations to help you understand the meaning. Quran is revealed in a poetic form. Sometimes a direct, word by word translation might be confusing for first time readers. I hope you enjoy
