Ya got that right. I was born here in 1952 and can still remember many of the historic buildings that were either burnt down, knocked down or just torn down throughout the years under the guise of, ha...progress or poor or no maintenance instead of preserving the history and character of the city. You don't have to travel very far west to see how a couple of towns have preserved their downtowns for example and see how busy their main street is, ours is now dead. Too bad, but when you have what you have running the show it's no wonder Cornwall is a nothing, don't believe me, look around you.
