i hope it comes out at the end of the month at the latest. been waiting ages for 6.5. and this update seems like it will bring alot more variety of dinos running around, not just 90% carnos and crocs
Not holding my breath. The devs have all but proven there's no point in waiting for them. If the update ever does come out it'll probably be a good weeks worth of gaming and then back to years of waiting to get tiny bite sized updates that change nothing
U know what, it’s been a while since I’ve even bothered loooking at the isle again, but it’s good to see you again. Hope ur having a great time doing the stuff ur doing and the profile pick is really doin it for me, glad to be back.
These dinos look fun but god am I dying to actually see some of the big ones. This is the DINOSAUR GAME we want the big, iconic dinos… not just scrappy little lizards. The lesser known smaller creatures are fun but feel like more of a novelty, I’m desperate to see t-rex’s wandering around.
In the sheet it says that cera is only 500 kg?!?!?!?!? It will get destroyed since it's slow for it's size too. Not able to avoid carno charges, can't flee pachys and omnis. Yeah, we definetly got our agile low mid tier that can kill stegos lol
I think the size will be similar to Carno, also the weight can go from 500-2200 kg according to the wikipedia and I hope they stick with it because thats realistic. The speed is around 35-40 km/h so not that slow but not that fast. Let's see what the Evrima version will be. What they mentionned the attack speed will be fast, they will have thicker skin and bacteria also can eat rotten food so it can compete with the Carnos.
@@duder7396 We will see that, realism and video games often differ and by the size comparison they possible will alter the numbers to be close to Carno. Same how Dryosaurus was so huge on legacy while in Evrima much smaller and close to the "real" one. 500 kg for that size seems small because that is basically a Utah Raptor 1.1-1.3 is more realistic but I think they will alter to the 1.7-2 tons at max.
Hey caveman do you think they will add more players to the official severs like 100 to 200 the only reason I say this because when there’s so many Dino’s that are going to be playable
I would say there need more servers and increase the capacity and cap at 300. Often on the EU servers you cannot find enough places to join because these servers are more popular than NA, SA or Oceania. If the devs can pull out some cool stuff and improve the game quality, add more playables and they do realize 3 playables at least in each 3 months then the game popularity could increase aswell and then the new and expanded servers really needed.
I want cera to be my new main, by that i mean that it will (for logical mentality) bigger damage hp and by25% bloodpool. I mean i hope it will be really durable and strong animal that finally the carno will fear, despite being slower than utah and carno it may be a killing machine plus the bacteria thing only doubleing its strenght. I mean i can't wait to play something that will traumatize carnos and much more of herbis, i mean the only benefit for it as scavenger is building up these bacterias but if it hunt something probably an easy kill like a tenonto or pachy but with some injuries like in 1v1 i mean predators are the ones that give herbis two choices: run||fight and cera will be killable for teno (all of it in my opinion im not a dev) but teno will most likely die if its not that skilled player, cera should also be a little bit slower than utah in my opinion. All of that debuffs it to be only capable of 4 guys in group of adults, if subadults 6 and if juvies and hatchlings 10, so that subadults will have to leave the nest and start their life and parents with the help of aditional two take care of their kids. If the cera will be similar to what i described it to be in my opinion it will be great!
I wish they gave us more info about the release dates of the updates like the least they could do is tell us the approximate month. The isle is the most realistic and beautiful game in this genre but it manages to have the worst development and developers. I love the isle but I’m just kinda done with all that’s been going on lately.
Tell me the community is desperate for content without saying that we're desperate for content Great vid, fam, I really do hope this update is out sooner than later, the current game balance just feels BAD to play, especially compared to previous renditions of playables (just look at how they massacred the raptor) and others feel worse to play against (Carno and Pachy especially). New playables and a rebalance are very needed.
They said multiple times on their discord that they don't like updating the roadmap because they don't want the players speculating about what they are/aren't working on.
@@redcerato1439 I'm not either but there is a RU-vid channel called "The Isle News Updates (Saphir Ceratosaurus)" which is run by a player who takes screenshots of the Discord's Q&A and uploads them so everyone can see the Devs answers to questions. A lot of questions get repeated, and so a lot of answers get repeated.
So question, I don't play Isle, but I play POT, though I want to ask the players who do play isle, how long are these updates taking to come? How long were you guys waiting? From what I read, y'all been waiting a good while?
@@ReinertZerker well that's a lot damn, POT had lots of changes and additions since then, and lots more are on its way this year, I have the isle evrima, but I've been holding back on playing it till I see more stuff.
i expect that this update will be in about 90 days, based on my spreadsheet of their all their last updates. somewhere near the end of June. but i'm a Rando on the internet, don't take my word for it. it's just when i expect the Update to drop.
Update likely wont come for some time, they added more dinos to this update to buy time. Of course I HOPE to be proven wrong but this games past speaks for itself.
Well remember how they promised that troodon would be ready by December, only to have to cancel that because of a bug with its pounce which they struggled to fix for about a month? It is kinda obvious that they overestimated their abilities. Which is why they now have Cera and Beipi ready. If the one time they made a release date they got wrong, I prefer not knowing when they think they are ready.
He has lied about a RU-vidr that talks about the isle he has lied told lied about him to people and he is just rude he shoudlnt be in control just my opinion
@@dayansirodriguez1908 yeah I seen the way he is and I'm not a fan of people with that attitude I try to stay away from them, I just love dinosaurs and this game unfortunately is the best dinosaurs looking game out there, sadly it has a team leader that has problems, not sure if it's his personal life style or what, but all we can do is hope that people like that change, and I'm a guy that believe everyone can change just a matter of time and when they can make the leap to do so,
Roadmaps often changes that's common for game development and it is okay the problem happens when they promise something and cannot keep it. That is why most dev teams keeps the roadmap in house and not say public anything to piss the playerbase. Game development is not an easy task even if we talk about indie, medium or large sized dev teams, stuff and life thingies can happen. Althought I agree with your statement but the development is just like this.
@@sziklamester1244 proper planning and recognizing what you're actually capable of would give you a better time frame. Time and again they overestimate their abilities then get mad at their community for being disappointed or mad. The community is only getting more and more toxic and i have a feeling its only going to get worse. It feels like theve burned all the good will the players have had for them. Half the dev team dont even like us anymore. Its very disheartening. I understand that the game is complicated. But this game has had multiple soft reboots now. If they cant even prepare a schedule and stick with it after 7 years.. well.. ive little hope left. Id like them to prove me wrong but.. we'll see. Hes already abandoned one game.
@@mora118 This is possible and I have seen many devs did the same because they were overestimated and they felt they are more capable and the first stress came and left the game. I do not know personally the Isle devs but this game is almost as old in development like my main game I play Warframe. Seeing different games and how they progress and how other games was a mess at first (kenshi) and turned into something fun and interesting. I value devs whom trying to not promise too far away things and try to stick with their plans and if they are wrong, asking the community too because the community as all have different kind of people whom have different ideas and these can be useful sometimes to the devs too. I am not knowing them so I cannot tell who likes their fanbase or not but one thing is sure they often re re booting progress and in the end their product is a mess. In legacy at first when i started had basically nothing to do so i skipped like 2-3 year and came back then skip another 2. I would not say I constantly plays this game because I already have hundreds of games i play and have 10 what I do play most often. I wish they were more prepared because the idea for a dino survival / national geographic esque dino game was missed from the market but they progress so slow and often makes the people mad whom involved in the game much more than I am. Maybe the team is too small, maybe the skills are not yet there or just the management mismanage the things that can also be a problem. I hope the best for both them and the community to stick with the game no matter what will happen in the following years. I waited 20 year for a game that ended up being mediocre at best but I have seen a lot of games that has the longest possible development time in years but I stick with them because I felt the idea is too good to drop. I am patient person but often patience not results good things.
@@sziklamester1244 The difference between the isle devs and so many other devs is that we know their history. Namely we know why the head of management/owner left the other game. We know of his miss management, his toxicity, his hatred for his community, and his petiteness. We've seen it in action. I do think that it comes down to miss management for the most part. I do believe that the devs are tallented people who do amazing with the situation they have. But.. that still leaves the very visible issue that is said owner of the company. He uses company assets to donate on twitch to people who dont even play the game, left primal carnage over petty shit about another dev sleeping with someone he slept with, completely fumbled when they had a pedo among the dev team by threatening the victims and creating a terribly toxic and hostile place where people are scared to come forward, outright attacks his community and looks for reasons to ban them. An example being X Zagure, A fantastic youtuber who does analysis on the isle concept art, ideas in the game, etc. Hes critical of the game, so he was banned from the official discord after dondi tried to start shit with him MULTIPLE times. And thats just one example.. there are many many more. The list goes on. We know his history. It played out before us and was given to us by Sid Alpha after the whole pedo thing went completely wrong. (Sid is another very trustworthy youtuber who is critical of dev teams and how they handle things. As it stands, Dondi is on his list of dirty devs. He could fix that if he wanted, but he wont. He literally had to remove himself from the community because of how hostile things were getting. he hardly posts now because its not good when he does. You sound like someone who plays now and then and doesnt know the ins and outs.. Which is good. Keep it that way. because when you look in, you find yourself on shaky ground with a really shitty situation playing out. As of now, I have 1982 hours in game. I saw v3 get updated, sat the beginning of Evrima, and now see the upcoming 3 deins that we've been waiting for for around 400 days. Things have been crazy. I do hope you keep your optimism, but also do your research. this dev team isnt like other dev teams. They're not kind nor patient. They dont keep things secret. inf act they reveal too much, creating speculation that they then get pissed at. Its a sad thing. I do love the game. I do want to see it better. but I know its history and im worried for it you know..? I dont think it will actually ever be complete.
The only reason I support the isle is because of the game itself. Do I like thee Devs, no. I think Dondi is a piece of shit that should have never been the one to own the company that works on the game. But the Devs have made a good roadmap that they look like their sticking to so I'm in it for the long run.
Ahhh, the Isle community. Viciously attacking and insulting the devs, then putting on a surprised Pikachu face when they don't put up with the crap anymore. (Not the vid, but the comments) I've been following this game for years. The dev attitudes are a direct result of the abuse from the community. I also find it hilarious that people then say, "I'm going to play PoT!" When its creator was responsible for the spaghetti code that made the conversion to Evrima necessary.
Visually speaking its far above BoB and quite a bit above PoT. Save for that we'll have to see, but it probably won't be too great aside from ceratosaurus
@@rexythetearex5488 how? Save for the shadows, its better than both, especially when viewing models from a difference (i have my PoT on the highest settings possible and models still pixelize to high hell)
lol new road map. So like the 20th one. Such a joke of a dev team. Nothing to kill steggos 1v1 so basically the same meta on land since the game was released. Such garbage lmfao.
Beipi is gonna be slow af on land, they said this many times, it even says it on the discord text you showed in the video. Just too correct you, no hate
