An overview and watch review of the DOXA SUB600T professional after one month of ownership . This guy deserved somes cinematic footage ;) If you have any questions about this one, hit the comments or come find me on instagram.
Loved this review Tom! Great to see some original content on the 600T. As an owner of the 300T, I was super curious about this one and I’m pleased it’s had such a positive review 😊🍊👌🏻
Quite literally been holding off purchasing until you released this vid! Definitely think it looks better on the black nato + i just wish the bezel was thicker and the caseback a bit thinner.
Thx mate. Yeah I’m not sure. Maybe if they didn’t push to 600m but maybe a thinner profile would look akward too for this design. Cutting the nato to single pass will also help for a slimmer profile
Great review. I’ve been thinking hard on this but I can’t wrap my head around how high it floats off the wrist, as if Doxa ignored basic human anatomy. You didn’t have much for angled shots. Does it look weird at angle?
I have the Seestern homage that is very close. I got the blue dial, but this video made me think I should have got the orange dial. How hard is to remove and ut back the bracelet? Looks very tight fit on the lugs. Drilled lugs would have been great in this case.
I love the look of this watch, which ones are the ceramic ones? Also I understand you got rid of yours, was it because you didn't enjoy the watch or was it the colour?
haven't listed it yet ... the color , not the watch perse ... or too many divers in the collection .. or no specific reason to take this over the seiko spb
that part didn't bother me (ended up not keeping the doxa tho .. the color wasn't my thing ...) .. i usually cut the nato so its only one layer too . .use nato that is stiff enough to handle the weight. i get what you say .. but switching straps just changes the watches. different doesn't always have to be better for a couple of days
New sub here and I like your channel. If I can make one suggestion it would your choice in music. I find it a little extra and I skip the intros. That’s just my opinion tho.
I own one of these and like it but I have to say that Doxa are not a good deal at all. I would put my Squale, CERTINA and Christopher Ward ahead of them every time. take the history away and what are you left with?
Seastern and Tactical Frog are made in same factory in China as most of Doxa's parts... and they cost $200. The ETA2824/SW200 movements cost around $250. That shows anything over $500 on a Doxa is a ripoff.
Tough for me to get into the Doxa hype, ain't my style, the whole design is tad gimmick in my eyes. Plus i'll insist the orange colour visibility underwater is a myth. Funny though, you sound like having doubts on this purchase, guess you're on a trial with it (and the brand), right? Yes, the orange dial may bring a smile but for how long i wonder... Oh, i like the assymetry of the dial, but the whole dial looks rather empty in the end. Weird... Cheers mate, enjoy. PS In Greece? May i call you T(h)omas from now on (Θωμας in greek...)? Greek roots? I could hear that strange, rather greek, "r" pronunciation, but then again i may be totally wrong... PS2 Having a small wrist like yours i tend to wear nato straps on a technique that the strap doesn't fold at the end. Search it and give it a try, looks less bulky.
(I'm not associated with the brand in any way.).. but yes, the brand is new to me, I did get curious about hype, but their history is real, i think this watch is "well played" , and yes, the "doubts" you hear are real. It's very important to know that this is just one of the watches in my collection.... i'll go diving to check the orange color myth ;) but if so .. an orange hand on a different colored dial would probably stand out of more no ? :) not greek. haha, its a "Gentse R" . Thomas or tom, all good ;). I usually cut up the nato's too, but only after I decided on what watch I'll wear them ... thanks for watching and your opinions are welcomed !
@@BowlOfSalmon Cheers Tom. As for the nato, i don't suggest you cut it, rather than put it on on another way, got to send you a link of a vid, check the 3rd way (i'll try it here, hoping YT won't "cut"it, let's try... ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-g9d5tRc3GKE.html ). Btw, where in Greece have you been?
@@BowlOfSalmon Lovely (and green!) places. Down here at the pin of Europe's map (aka Crete island) nothing but sea, sun, sand and beaches... oh, some bitches too, but that's everywhere, right? 😜
