Keeping the 240v RT link in when wiring the Google Nest 3rd Gen via OpenTherm was the missing bit. Heating was not firing however this video cleared it up. There is no mention of this in the service manual, big blunder. Please update and release a revised version with new boilers as this is crucial info.

Will the 240v link be the same thickness of wire as the 48v open therm? Just wondering can I remove the linke for opentherm and pop it in the 240v? I've got a nest learning thermostat to do but the previous installer has tried to do a 3 core 240v to the heatlink already
