Tehachapi was surprised with a snow storm in late March and I just happened to be working at the depot that day, so...you know. It was also the day the Golden Swoosh came through on the point of a westbound, but that was in another video that was already 20 minutes long, so here are the rest of the trains from that day!

I live in Palmdale and was drivng north on Sierra Highway passing by the Dennis siding yesterday and lo and behold there was a southbound there that was stopped and the leader was a S.P. unit! First S.P. engine that I have seen in at least 5 years.

Thank you, and I agree. The museum has just approved allowing some of these youngsters to work with the docents, eventually doing it by themselves. I think that's great!

I believe it was 1997 they had such a snowfall at Tehachapi i couldnt get through with my truck. Bakersfield got 17 inchs.
