According to Broadcast magazine in their April 1965 issue, and BM/E in May 1965, was when CBS' New York Broadcast Center got their first GE 4-V color film chain camera - which would then have been the PE-24, and both articles said the network would take deliveries of more chains of that model (for both CBS network and WCBS-TV local at the Broadcast Center, as well as Television City in Hollywood) right up to the summer. But given what photos were taken, and where, in the telecine department, it appears that they would've had both PE-24's and PE-240's, the latest delivered in 1966 (they certainly had enough come the 1965-66 season, to run the first screening of "A Charlie Brown Christmas," for example, but as CBS's commitment to color increased, GE's manufacture for the network apparently extended to the point they replaced the PE-24 with the PE-240 in what they made). I noticed differences in appearances between the 24's and 240's on a few of the sides. CBS may have had the "B" variant (or, PE-240-B), given the rounded edges on the camera heads. I myself have noticed some subtle differences in how film and slides were presented by the GE units compared to say, RCA's TK-27. Ads on videotape (including Frankart and Crazy Eddie) were loaded in carts made for Ampex' ACR-25 player. (In that they certainly differed from WNBC and WABC.) CBS and WCBS certainly had Ampex VR-2000's (and a few VR-1200's) all over the place. And of course, the king of studio cameras back then, the Norelco PC-70.
Those early days when the networks were largely using C-Band on an experimental basis, and in some cases to transmit network programming between the mainland and Alaska/Hawaii.
Good times back then. The station I worked for got a 10-meter satellite dish very early -- 1976 I believe -- and I would spend a lot of time swinging it around to see what I could find.
I love hearing the New York accent of the 70s. Everyone who lived there had it. Sadly, the NYC accent is disappearing. It's less and less common today. 😟

Their tape machines were primarily Ampex VR-2000's, with a few VR-1200's, plus ACR-25 cart players; of course, for live studio color, it was the evergreen Norelco PC-70 (the earliest models with the round applied handles and two cable connectors - but the same 'Norelco' metal plate as on later versions). I'm trying to figure out what slide machines they used (it would decidedly not have been RCA TP-7's).
I have implemented your corrections/changes, with a few minor modifications. There's a minimum of 10 seconds between RU-vid chapters, so I had to fudge things a bit in a few spots. Also, the text was too long for the "Pop Package" line, so I had to truncate it. As an aside, I've been experimenting for week to figure out why the chapters I include with my videos don't appear on the timeline scrubber. I've exhausted all possibilities and have accepted the reality that for whatever reason, RU-vid has disabled that feature on my channel.

From what I've read regarding the film in question (bumper'd at 3:27), and cross-checking old TV listings, this would have aired in the early morning hours of March 21, 1978 (broadcast day of March 20). The sign-off itself was about 5:50 A.M., thus it was only "down" for about 15 minutes. B.T.W., in "The CBS Late Movie's" early months in 1972 after the network fired Merv Griffin, Stevens pulled double-duty on that movie show plus, from January to May, announcing for the "CBS Evening News with Walter Cronkite" in-between Harry Kramer's departure (which would also lead to Hal Simms taking over "The Edge of Night" announcing gig) and Bob Hite taking over the V/O role through his own retirement in 1979.

Chris Borgen who needed non-reflective glasses, "...takes care of all the crime in the city...won't have any more crime..." of course Son of Sam was lurking right around the corner. Jonh Stossel a guardian angel? The guys on subway with the red berets would do more. Over-the-top promos like these turn people away.
