Nice commemorative shave Chris. I didn't know Donald personally but I've definitely heard of him. Sad news. My last SOTD: 1967 Gillette Slim Adjustable with a Gillette Platinum blade, WCS 2-Tone 26mm synthetic brush(blue and white), Clubman Special Reserve splash, and Cremo Cooling Formula cream(not very good) and balm. Great shave. Donald would’ve loved that set up for sure. I don’t think I’ve ever met Donald, but he seemed to be a good dude from all accounts. May he rest easy and fly high. My SOTD for today was of the KCG razor with the Gillette 7 O’Clock Permasharp Stainless, Razorock XXX soap, Maggards B&W synthetic brush, Brut splash, and the Gillette Aftershave Gel. The 7 O’Clock Permasharp Stainless was the last blade from the 7 O’Clock series I tried out and it did just fine. Nothing special about the blade, but it gave me a good close shave. The Indian Gillette Wilkinson Sword blades also did well for me when I tried them out on my other shave. Have a good one and keep your head up.

You've done well with this tribute to Navy Goat. He knows how you are and would fully appreciate this memorial shave. I only knew him through Paul's frequent comments about him. And like you, this is not a subject that I do well with either. Still, this video is a fine way to commemorate him. My SOTD, is straight from Croatia as I used the Superior Cuts 3D Printed Razor & Soap won from Robert's Classic Shave Channel.

Nice tribute shave Chris. I just recently got into wet shaving and watching yours and Paul's videos so hadn't heard of Donald. By coincidence I used something slightly nautical themed as well. Yaqi Final Cut w/ Wilkinson Sword, Barrister and Mann Spice w/ Rockwell synthetic. Finished with Old Spice Classic. Condolences on the loss of your friend. He sounds like a very interesting person to have known. All the best.
