Ah great topic and great info! Super helpful video! Don’t think you can lose with either property. I had a tough time trying to pin down the number of units at the Vistana Villages. I kept getting different answers🤣🤔 Can’t wait to get back to the Vistana Resort to make this comparison.
The problem with many of these resorts is the number of keyed rooms vs the number of units the timeshare developer actually sold. So, depending on who you ask, you can get very different answers. At Vistana Villages, they sold about 750 units as timeshare, but many of those units are comprised of two separate one bedroom units put together to make a two bedroom. There are even some that are comprised of three one bedroom units to make a three bedroom. The number of units I quoted is based on he number sold, but the total number of keyed units is much higher. When looking for hotels/resorts, I couldn't wrap my head around exactly what the difference was - whether they were pretty much the same thing and this has broken it down beautifully. The only thing I would like to suggest and see added to this is whether any of the resorts have other activities on site like mini-golf, indoor arcade for kids, kids club etc.

Interesting this Jeremy, thank you. We always stay at the Sheraton Vistana Resort Villas and are often tempted to try the Villages out instead. Nostalgia keeps us at the Resort every time 🙂 We had family stay at the Villages (they have stayed at the Resort as well) and preferred the Villages as they were newer and still not too far away from the Disney action.

We are currently staying at Vistana Villages for the third straight week and absolutely love it. The pirate pool has been down since the day after Labor Day for renovations. My wife gets her Starbucks daily at the marketplace and has been very pleased with how nice the employees are. The breeze bar just changed their menu to much better food options. We did go over to Vistana Resort last week to check it out and while it is huge and has 7 pools their just was not that resort feelling that the Villages have.
I had heard they would be taking the St Augustine pool offline. Great to hear about Breezes. We ate there quite a while ago and the selection was limited. I agree on the resort feel. Vistana Resort doesn't have it like Vistana Villages does. You must really love Vistana Villages to go back for three weeks in a row. That is longer than we have ever stayed any time consecutively at any resort except for the time we did three weeks at Cypress Harbour.
@@DestinationTimeshare We returned home today. The hurricane prediction moved 150 miles west in the last 30 hours so hopefully it stays far away in the gulf and hopefully weaken until it hits U.S. cities. Jacksonville has no worries.

@@kathrynwhelan4900 The difference is probably only about 10 minutes, depending on traffic.A quick Google Maps search shows me it is 13 minutes from Vistana Resort to the Contemporary where Vistana Villages is about 19 minutes. Thanks for watching and I hope this helps.
There was a time in 2018 and 2019 where u can go to the pool without needing a hotelroom if u been coming there for a very long time like a vip pass sadly it doesn't work no more ;(
@@DestinationTimeshare We were at the Sheraton Vistana resort in March and the Wi-Fi was still horrible as well as cell service. Have you heard anything about villages resort?
@@MrBonesJones We have stopped staying at Vistana REsort because of the WiFi issues and I am sad to see they are still having problems. We now only stay at Sheraton Vistana Villages and have no issues there. Their WiFi is fast usually peaking out at about 100Mbps. It is one of our favorite resorts. @@Richard-fv7rq Last I heard it was still an issue. Apparently the new system they installed really wasn't designed to handle the number of devices a modern traveler brings with them. I will see if I can find out the latest on the WiFi.
So you have to be a timeshare owner? Is there pressure to attend a presentation? We have no interest in that. I want to feel safe at my resort and able to walk to different pools and find food with my 8 year old and not get lost lol. Husband will want to golf a few days. Thanks
We are owners and you will likely be asked to attend a presentation when you check in. You might avoid this if you check in very early in the morning or late at night. Otherwise they will ask you to go and get a parking pass and at that time they will likely ask you to attend. Just politely decline, you may need to say no more than once. If you are good at saying No, you will be fine. Once you get past this step, you should be in the clear.
We have a stay booked at the Sheraton Vistana villages on I-drive in September ‘23. Wondering if/where we can order groceries and have them delivered before we get there or delivered in time for when we get there?
I think most delivery apps will work, but there is also a Publix grocery store just down the street about a mile. So you may be able to order direct from there. I don't know if the resort has a place to store cold items, so you probably want to have the stuff delivered while you are at the resort and can be there to meet them when they deliver. That might explain it, we've only stayed in the Bella phase once many years ago. Those rooms are in need of a serious refurb. Sorry to hear you had these issues.
